09 Real Deal College Football Discussion/No Homers - Lets geh geh GET IT!

I feel sorry for the Boston Colleges LB's and DE's.

Brace and Raji were a crazy combo last year. Because the both demanded double teams, but it was impossible to double both of them. SO the other was left one onone ( a battle which they usually won) They commanded so much attention that the DE's NEVER got doubled and were almost always in favorable matchups.

The two in the middle also always kept the OL off the LB's allowing them to roam as much as they want. They could stop the run w/o blitzing

. Whichalso allowed the CB's to play pass 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

That BC defense last year was crazy and was a perfect storm.

Should be a huge dropoff this year. They are going to be small as %@%@ this year in the front 7. Now they have to commit one more defender to the run And nowthey lose their best defensive player? Jeez.

Not again..

Maybe with Russell Wilson at the helm full time now, this may be ran a little smoother than last year.

just picked up a free ticket to this game. Making the drive from Winston to the game. Not a bad way to kickoff the season at all for me, then I'll be backhere for the Wake/Baylor game sat

we're so close its crazy.

Can't wait to see how the Ok State/Georgia game goes.

I was just thinking it's time for this thread. Devin Gardner and Ricardo Miller square off this saturday. Wish I was going.

Oregon is in for a challenge @ Boise. However unlike last year Oregon will be playing with a legitimate starting QB.

That is assuming nobody from Boise does the human torpedo at Masoli's head on the opening drive again

I think BSU takes the W on the "smurf Turf"... and I think Okie state beats UGA... was thinkning about heading to the game in stillwater, but decidednot to... will be going to the Buckeyes Watch party at a sports grill here in town .!!! a lil over a week away.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So damn happy for the season to start. Just want to see if any of these QBs can run an O for RR. I expect a HEAVY dose of running for Michigan this year.Better have an OL that is ready to maul some people because they are going to load the box up and make Michigan beat them with a pass or overpower them.

Can't wait to see Denard, King William and Turner get on the field. Craig Roh is also a guy to watch out for. Kid looks like Matt Roth from Iowa a fewyears ago. Intense and all energy.

I really thought Forcier had the job on lock after the spring game. Curious about Gallon too.

Conference Champion picks?

ACC: Virginia Tech
Big East: West Virginia
Big Ten: Ohio State
Big XII: Texas
Pac 10: Cal
SEC: Florida

Mountain West: TCU

Texas vs. Florida in Pasadena...
TCU is this year's BCS Buster...
Ohio State finally wins a BCS game...

Gonna go out on a limb in the Pac 10 with the freshman QB at USC... They'll still probably win it, but picking favorites straight through wasn't doinit for me...
