Gonna go out on a limb in the Pac 10 with the freshman QB at USC... They'll still probably win it, but picking favorites straight through wasn't doin it for me...

"We owe that team an a**-whuppin" - Blount. I love it! Here's something to consider if you're looking to put some $$$ on the Oregon/BSU game: Whenever Chip Kelly has had 2 weeks to prepare for a game UO's won all 7 times and averaged 51 points in the process.
I honestly don't foresee Boise being able to stop Kelly's rushing offense so long as there's a competent QB in the backfield. The only teams whohave been able to slow down UO's rushing attack on at least one occasion in the past have been Cal and USC, but their athletes are on another levelcompared to Boise. Blount and that o-line are gonna bully them and put up something like 275+ on the ground.

Pritchard actually would have been a decent option this year if Luck hadn't come along so fast. They'd be fine with either but the newkid is supposedly a huge talent.

Ohio State has a freshman running back that could possibly be starting by the end of the season...and it's not Jamaal Berry. Jordan Hall continues toimpress...been reading that it wouldn't be a surprise if he's the starter by the end of the year. He ended practice today with a Reggie Bushesque flipover Dorian Bell for a TD. He's been the best freshman in camp from observers which is saying something b/c Duron Carter has been impressive, as well.

hard to figure scUM out... I I honestly thought they would win 6-7 games last year... I was shocked the season turn out the way it did..even with the RRsituation. I think its a 5 win season, and RR is on the hot seat... just my opinion..may be wrong, just like I was last year...

MIchigan had EVERYTHING go against them last year. Flea flicker against Purdue and that is win #4. Pic 6 vs Toledo from our own 10 and that is #5. First gamevs Utah and 2 monster play given up by Stevie Brown and there is #6. 6 TO's vs ND with 4 resulting in points against or not scored for us is #7. Plus wehad NWestern on the ropes for an easy win down the stretch as another and #8. It was ugly but it could have been somewhat decent record wise if not for theteam turing the ball over about 50 times last year.
Tate should get the snaps but they are going to try whatever works against Western just to get a win. If 1 looks basura against Western do not expect them toplay vs ND. That is the game that the D has to step up and dominate. I think GRob has a good mindset for D and will get us to play within ourselves and be ableto at least force teams into 3 and outs.
Michigan has 5 teams that they SHOULD beat. Then the other 7 are all going to take a completely different team from last year to win. If thee guys have trulybought in to what RR is selling and play their balls off they could be back in a bowl game with no problems. If they dont and dont want to play, things will beno different than last year. The big difference will be an OL that knows what to do and a group of QBs with brains and an ability to play college ball.
Do NOT be surprised if Denard Robinson is running this team by the Michigan St game. The coaches love his game that much and he is that dangerous in the openfield

true... that is what I was looking at last year thinking, okay forget the appy st game, LLLLLLoyd carr is gone...RR is going to have them playinggood.. so I assumed they would win 6-7 possible 8 games, and it be a down year for them.. but as the season went on, there was just no fire... I have neverseen an Ohio State/scUM game played like it was last year, it was if as scUM just has no life in them... hope they turn it around, not just for the OhioState/scUM rivarly but for the big 10 as well...

people have had them as there BCS pick for like 10 years now and these fools always lose games they shouldn't
Pretty much. they will win the MWC but theyll have a loss or two.
IMO BYU has a better shot of breakin in a BCS bowl

You really think the NCAA is gonna crack down on the helmet to helmet contact? I feel like it's just gonna be like David Stern saying that flopping willget you fines, but no one did. Suspensions and ejections are way too costly IMO.

yes theyre gonna crack down, since there is no way to fine habitual line steppers, ejections and suspensions is the only way to combat flagrant use of helmetas a weapon

I just can't see anybody in the MWC beating TCU...
That team has been good in the past, but that defense this year...
BYU got a shot if they can beat Oklahoma in Arlington though...

I dont know how how much coaching he actually does anyways. I feel like they just keep him around as the face of the program.

there is no way they get in unless they run the table.. if OU beats them, even if its close, they are out...the BCS would take a 1 loss team or even a 2 lossteam from a top tier BCS conf. ..imo
