I've seen fake Chucks at a couple different drive-thru's around my way..

Chucks are popular and very cheap to make. Perfect for counterfeit. I've seen many of them at Downtown LA, but I couldn't tell the difference between the two.

yes the do make fakes.funny thing over here in greece is that fakes go for 20 euros,and originals for 50...

In order to sell something there must be a market for it and given that chucks are already soo cheap I really hope not. People these days.

There absolutely are fake Chucks & Purcells. Just basic versions as well as collabs like CDG, UNDFTD, Varvatos, etc. If they cost $5 to produce and can be sold for $25-30, the profit is still there. There are versions that retail for $75-175 and basic Chucks cost $50+ now.

isnt that the point? fakes go for less than half the price which is why people buy them

Hahaha yes they do. The guy who sold me these said that they were in the "family" of Chucks. LMAO

Sorry to re resurrect I am looking for the leather ox chuck Taylor in white low top. Not the monochrome version that's currently out. I've been searching high and low. All I can find is some in eBay but I don't know how to determine if they're fake or not... Any help?!
