A new AJ retro site and a little give back to the NT community....

As a longstanding viewer and member of this community dating back to the early days of Nikestreet and nikepark....I remember the days when this forumwasn't even www.niketalk.com...I remember it's debut in the intro column of the 2nd or 3rd kicks magazine. Anyways, like many of you...sneakers havebecome more than a hobby in my life. Many times, when a shoe is retro'd or I see someone wearing something I had at another time in my life, it takes meback to that period for a sec.

Long story short...for better or worse...I love the "shoe game"...For me it's not about having the coolest shoe that everyone will bug outover....but more about re-connecting with something from the past, or finding a new model to go nuts for and have new memories.

Fast forward to today, where I'm finally able to "giveback" a bit to Niketalk and to all of the members over the years who have contributed tothis forum to make it what it is.

Tough crowd in here tonight...as for the legitimacy questions...search the same ebay name and see if you still feel the same way, almost 9 years and goldpowerseller status....never a fake. I agree the shapes of some of the pics are off...but that's due to a learning curve with new software.

And as for the pricing, there are several other well known and reputable sites that are priced higher and for varying reasons....

I do appreciate all of your input as it is honest and all I can ask for....

Hey Tom, glad to see that you finally launched this long talked site of yours. Tough crowd fa shoo...you definitely cannot please everyone now. Don't letthese youngin's get to you, you see so many cats in the LC and Steal/Deal threads getting ripped off with the fakes on ebay, sites like such are theirresorts that they can always count on for guaranteed authentic kicks...sooner or later they'll realize the benfits of your site, uta, and others...and feelrelaxed paying that extra fee with the assurance of NOTHING to worry about.

I do agree the prices are a little high (maybe consider taking 10% off your prices, its better to sell 10 shoes at 10% discount then 3 shoes at no discount),but I agree here. It is always good to have a legitimate website to purchase kicks from. Everyone loves getting steals, but if there is a shoe you want anddon't know where to get it or cannot find it , sites like these are great to purchase from. This guy is 100% legit so don't worry about how thepictures look.

Ive always wanted to open my own site but never had the opportunity to do it. Good luck with your site.
