How so it open doors for others to gain acceptance notoriety. Its kinda like how alot of ppl hate on eminem say he is corny he just some wack goofball lame a#$cr@#$. Maybe so to some eyes but he did get some new ppl into rap thus bringing in new fans 2 explore check out other rap artist andthey work. Ive meet alot of ppl mostly white but still that werent really heavy into rap had the typical stereotypes about it,listened to em and start checkingout and exploring other artist and there work

BEST RAPPER ALIVE

Its songs like this that have me scratchin my head when ppl dont see how ingenious and how talented andre 3000 is. We had a thread what a week ago about thebest/most diverse mc, and cats was lol at andre. Some of the responses was outrageous. Dudes was saying kool g rap, rakim, all kinds of ludacris answers. This 1song embodies how diverse and well rounded of an artist andre is. I seriously think u could throw this dude in any aspect of hip hop be it bass musicunderground backpackers rap typical east coast west coast gangbang conscious rap whatever and he would be able to flourish and shine in anyone of thoseaspects.

six years? wow. I remember dudes in middle school buying the dual cds and giving the love below disc to their girl and keeping the speakerboxxx one haha

Well, think about it. Mainstream appeal is great and all, but rap had that before this album dropped. Andwe all know what happens when things keep going up. They must come down eventually.

Yea but rap is still in its baby stages its only like 30 yrs old i think it has alot of time to grow before it falls off. Not saying jazz is but it was thebiggest thing at one time now it hardly get any respect.

Man what an amazing song from top to bottom, the beat, the video the concept. Man this **** is one of the best songs ever made in my opinion, no matter what category you place it under.

My favorite lines from the song:

' Cause the thought alone is killing me right now'

'Thank God for Mom and Dad sticking two together, cuz we don't know how'

And then there's this that hits home:

'Separates always better when there's feelings involved"

All laid up against one of the best dance songs ever made. Creativity in its essence.

Saw him perform it live over the weekend at Coachella. Great experience.

I think this one will be a timeless song. A song that my grandkids will probably know the words to.

What is great about this song is how polarizing the lyrics are relative to the melody of the song. The song really hits home about how difficult relationships are and the pain involved with them, accompanied by one of the most upbeat energetic instrumentation of the last decade.

Song of the 2000's IMO.
