Jordan 1 Lakers High Strap (Why the hate? But love the Unreleased Og sample lakers)

Just a question for NT..... as you know the school Daze Jordan 1 High Retro strap Lakers just started to release in limited nikeaccounts.
My question is why aren't this shoes getting much love, they are very similiar to the Og jordan 1 high unreleased samples, and many collectors weredrooling
over these, so why havent there been much hype over the 09 lakers version.
Is it becuase a unreleased sample just screams amazing, but when they actually release something similiar its like ok and?

like others said...the carpet fabric (still no clue why that is there) is what killed the shoe...i love a lakers cw
 
the strap was okay because its removable but they dont come with clippers fur the fur so no go
 
I think the "carpet" swoosh is to symbolize a lettermans jacket

I like the Lakers, I have to see them in person
 
Someone knowledgeable correct me but I thought the OG's were University of Washington AJ1's.
 
The purple on the straps looks too dark... The samples contain a much better color tone to them plus they are most likely made out of quality leather. Pluswhat the heck is the strap for? Are they trying to be air force ones or vandals?

i like the CW of the straps better, but the carpet swoosh and the fact theyre straps makes them "UGH!"
