I've seen these Kenlu posts that show shoe dissections and I thought to myself - instead of throwing out old shoes - cut em up!
I'm also a zoom-air-aholic. I crave it in my bball shoes and figured, why not get my own for my dress shoes?
After cleaning out the basement this weekend, I found a crap load of kicks I outgrew / beat down / don't wear anymore. I found a pair of 18.5s. Instead ofthrowing them out, I was gonna get that Full Zoom out of them.
Here are pics: PS all you need is a utility knife and scissors
Here they are before the destruction:
Removed the laces:
Used utility knife to detach the upper from the midsole on both sides:
Used scissors to cut the upper on both sides:
Peel forward
Cut off upper
Cut off inner bootie
Carefully cut the white stitching
Full zoom! Gimmie that
I'll take that heel one too!
