NT don't mess with Bob Marley? vol. Official Reggae/Dance Hall Thread!

Chronixx - Spirulina

I guess Chronixx is keeping with traditional Rastafarian diet by extolling the virtues of this "superfood" which comes from algae. He has an EP coming sometime soon called Dread & Terrible coming April 1st. Be on the look out for it. :nerd:

Figured I'd post this here, anyone know if Lauryn ever released this intro or is it just for performance purposes? I've look all over & everyone says it's just an old reggae riddim. Really love the bass in it. I've heard the al campbell song and queen of minstrel but Lauryns version >>>>> If anyone has any other vids her performing it ,anything closer to her version, or even an instrumental please post

what are some of the best roots reggae artists of the past and current?

bmw4000 bmw4000 , look through this thread & you'll find plenty of stuff to start off with...

Agree. Plus, IMO you can't go wrong with anything by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh or Steel Pulse. But there's tons of other good stuff out there from other artists as well. Just go through the thread and you can find a lot of it.

Bob, Peter Tosh, Sizzla, Fantan Mojah, Protoje, Chronixx, Warrior King, Greggory Isaacs. There are a whole lot more, but that should start you off right.

Speaking of Gregory Isaacs

This EP is fiyah! Capture Land is too good. Dude has to be one of the best new reggae artists I have heard in years. I really dig his music and can't wait for a full length album.
