Gourmet "Jordan Inspired" kicks -

They coo too...I dont really wear performance bulky basketball kicks like that anymore.
When they put on the vulcanize bottom it gives them a more casual appeal...plus the canvas makes
them more laid back IMO.....so I like...the price is a bit much though

i like the canvas and vulcanized sole, but just as with most people, not willing shell out 150. also noticed on the commonwealth site it says these run 1/2size small..probably better to try these on before purchasing.

...saw these at UNDFTD VEGAS last saturday. Grey XI looked real fly in person. Almost copped, price tag wasn't fitting tho!

If anybody buys those that might aswell say they support fakes cause they are a straight hack/exact copy of the Jordans VII & XIs. My question is how arethey allowed to do this are their no copyright laws on those designs?

I'm usually up for new brands, but when I saw them @ Union NYC, I looked @ them and turned to check out the price, I slowly placed them back on the displayshelf and smh. I'd rather get a 2 pairs of half cabs and have them customized.

well shops that sell these and nikes, have been told to take them off the shelves.

if you have a pair keep them, cause you shouldn't be able to get a hold of them for much longer.

too bad they dont come in 13's...

^hmmm, I actually woulda copped.

I was sort of surprised that so many "legit" and well known shoe places would have carried these.

lol @ donjuan, i forget the story about why you don't like Jordan...

when the inital pictures leaked, I gave this company hell. I ruled it out before even giving it a chance.

but when I did give it a chance, its really not a bad shoe. Peoples @ Cmonwealth put me on.
its a solid shoe. My justification with this one is "pay attention to detail" These imo are the high end version of a classic sillouette. More so forthose who appreciate the style but want a more casual feel to them and these do serve that purpose. I am not saying you cant or shouldnt wear sneakers tocertain events, but some call for something more casual and those blk canvas 7s would do it for me. Very simple, basic and to the point. More than I can sayabout bapes, after wearing less then a hand full of times, they turn into complete @@%+. I see the potential in this particular brands.

from what I hear they did well at DQM

I might actually get the blk 7s, very smooth shoe along with the navy 11s. nothing im going out of my way to get, but if they are there, ill cop. The olivecolorway isnt that bad either. I tried them on and they are a bit snug true to size so I can vouch for the sizing up 1/2. None the less, they look rediculouslysmooth.

you should read up and HOW spacific and detailed copyright laws are and why it is allowed. The slightest alteration can pass the laws. To say your supporting fakes it a bit of a stretch because of the simple fact that, they are making complete replicas, to the best of the spacifications, along with the name and history, and selling it. Here it is a bit different because it is not posing as a Jordan sneaker but a more casual version to a classic sillouette. The name and purpose is different along with the design.

I'm coming around on some of the XI-styled ones, but two things will stop me from buying them.

They still remind me of some really bad fakes.

The price tag. If I'm spending that sort of money, I've got other things I'd rather buy. If they were around the $80-85 mark, then it'd be adifferent story.
