My vote goes Mega Man 2. That’s when I became obsessed with video game music. All these years from childhood those 8-bit tracks still just pop in my head.
 
act 2 is the goat tho


I would literally play til I got there and then sit the controller down for the whole 10 min.

I think Mike put his hand on this one. If you listen closely, the baseline is very close to Smooth Criminal.
 
Streets of rage 2 & 3 are one of my favorite ost’s. Super Street fighter 2 turbo also had a classic ost.
