My mom came from the Philippines in 1990 around January/Febuary
My Dad, sister and I came in December later that year; witnessed my 1st snow storm like a week later

my parents came to America to escape war and poverty in Cambodia during the Khmer Rouge's reign. My parents were on the run through the woods and gotseparated because my dad ran faster than my mom. Fortunately they later met at a refugee camp in Thailand.
