Jordan release date riots

down here in jacksonville florida i remember when the black and altitude green 13's released.. the only store that had them was in the mall at a place called image.. it was at least 100 deep and by the time the doors open we all ran to the store. A guy had dropped his keys and when we got to the line a guy showed a pair of keys and asked who they belong to.. A guy claimed them and the other one replied it's gonna cost you$40. the guy denied and they ended up fighting, and both were thrown out.
This is nothing to me.. difficult takes a day impossible takes a week.

^^^I remember that dudes came out the store and got jumped by like 6 dudes. And one guy sat in the store for like 3 hours waiting for everyone to leave, I don't blame him. The goons where really lurkin that day. Thats why now in Duval you need 2 straps goin to release dates.

ahh man in tacoma riots is an understatement!! just about every hyped release is pushing, curshing, cutting line its crazy up here but by far the DMP's was the worst release. 1st people were camped out like 4pm that friday on the finishline side and the opposite side where footaction is. i got there like 11pm friday of the release and i was jut doing a drive by to see what the damage was and man it was deep on each side roughly 20-25 on finishline side and about the same on the footaction side so i smased home got my big columbia the psp, ipod scooped my car and we crashed. So when i get there dudes was like yea you got your ticket? im like what ticket? dude was like footaction and finishline handed out tickets at 8pm for the mall closed i was @#%$ i was jus up here at 6pm to make sure they had the DMP's and no one said anything!! so believing i was being BS'ed i asked to see his ticket and he was like naw man i got mine though hope you got yours!! ahh so as timed passed a security guard walked up to everybody and was like yea make sure you guys dont try and enter the building before it opens because TPD just arrested 11 people for breaking into the mall haha so anyway like 5 people showed up like every hour till bout 6am and thats when people started coming out the wood works so about 7 it was maybe 50+ on each end so everyone was get worried and started hitting up people up in seattle at NikeTown which had gave out bracelets to people earlier that day, Bellevue square which i think had bout 200+ pair collectively and southcenter which had bout 120+ collectively and both spots where all deep from what we was told but to the point...The ceurity guards opened the doors and oooo man it was like the bull run people just started hauling @#%$ so i had my girl line up at footaction and i mashed to finishline and ended up being 12th in line!!and the line was 50+ deep so they finishline dude came up to the gate and said they had 21 pairs so i was HAPPPPPPY!!! but they thats when the trouble started. these local hoods showed up talking @#%$ (like 5) and tried to fight this young dude because of a altercations they had earlier dat morning and made him go to the back up the line and he was behind me hahahaha this lady was like "dont you go to the back of the line" so the hoods was like "if you dont move we gonna beat the F'n breaks off of you then put you in the back" so he moved haha so till 8 these dudes was causin rukus they cut the dude who was 1st in line then tried to sale their spots back to the people they cut hahaha...so finaly the gates open and a finishline dude came out with a stack of tickects to hand out...thats when everybody rushed dude so he starts running around the food court and the whole time the cops and mall security and just standing there so i was like F it im getting my ticket so we all make it back in the store and i push my way in front of dude and i had my hand on the whole stack of tickets then this fat asian dudes like grabs the other end and just drops to the floor and curls into a ball hahahahahaha so im hot trying get my tickets from dude and he gets up and starts running around the store and hands em to people he knows so finally da manager starts yelling saying their not selling the DMP's till later that night so if you get em you get em it cause there not gonna take any tickets DAMN!!! so i called my girl to see if she got a set and she said some dudes cut here but it didnt matter cause footaction said they only had 4 sets so yea since it was still early we mashed up to seattle but all the spots was sold out and dudes was trying to push theres for $900+ so yea you really had to be there hahahahahahaha

my mall has 4 stores, fl,champs,fa,shiekhs - all of which still have the 8's in stock fsr, lol i woke up on 6 am to get em too, smh

Yeaa, back in the day when Jordan's dropped on wednesdays. They had "midnight madness" on tuesday nights. At greenbriar mall I saw a guy get shot 4 times because a guy claimed another guy jumped the line and took his spot. Crazy! That was a riot for yo ***$!

naw i never been in riots or anything but i know in reno people dont care about j's i live about 2hrs away i was out there for the holiday's a while back and there was NO line the store had tons of shoes all sizes it was unbelievable

I wish the kicks game would be that exciting now, even with the riots and all. The violence is unnapreciated though.

Altitude XIII. Northridge mall. (CALI) I would love to be at the mall at 5am just to cop kicks+ talk with others.

I didnt get my pair that day. That happend ONCE and never again.

I wouldn't exactly call them riots but the rush at openings are always a pain.

when the dmp's came out i was working for footlocker, but my store didn't get them, my manager and i called all over the bay and no one was trying to let me get them. i ending up trying to do the eastbay thing, didn't get them, then camped at a mall in san jose where they wouldnt let anyone on mall property until 6am, at like 5:50 people just started rushing the mall entrance closest to footlocker, so much pushing and fighting, it was nuts. i heard there was over 100 people and there was only 13 packages. it got pretty crazy. cops got people into what was kinda a line. i was like 15th and still never got mine and i'm still pretty bitter about it. i've camped a few times since, but it seems like eastbay has gotten a lot better at handling the madness. i don't see myself camping again anytime soon.
