Dee Brown Reebok Omni Pump Lite re-release

Did they put a light inside the shoe for that effect or do they have some kind of natural glow?

nah they glow...never seen that color gitd but from what ive read they naturally glow in the dark on those light sections
 
i never owned one pair of reeboks ever and these and those packer kemps are the only pairs i can see myself owning...oh no im evolving! 
 
These Dee Browns are SUPER nostalgic for me. I got lucky and found a pair at Jimmy Jazz for the $114. LOVE 'em, and dudes around my age are constantly stopping me, asking where I got 'em, if they still pump, and just reminiscing about how bad-*** they are LOL

Excellent quality on these, IMO, and my pump system works perfectly. I may pick up another more common colorway for everyday wear, they're that comfy for me. But the Dee Brown cw is just too much of a classic for me to beat up on too much. I'm going to try and keep them as DS as possible.

Man I love those original pumps. How do they feel? I tried on the twilight zones and the ers sole seemed really stiff to me without much cushion.
 
Only tried on so far... Looking forward to wearing them soon... But from just tryin them on , I must say they are pretty comfortable... Mom wouldn't by me the OG's in middle school , so I couldn't tell you what they feel like compared to the originals

It's tough to compare from so long ago to the OGs, just going by memory. 

I had the OG Dee Browns in high school along with a pair of grapes, several VIs, Bordeaux VIIs, the force 180 pumps, flights, etc. I remember wearing all the J's more often because they were J's vs. what I sort of viewed as "inferior" Reeboks, but always remembered the hexalite system being very cushiony and the shoe as one of my most comfortable. Only going from memory, it doesnt seem QUITE as soft as I remember it but almost. by memory, the only ones I felt were more comfortable than the reeboks were my grapes and the VIIs. 

But like you, I didnt have a pair of pumps with the ERS system to compare the modern ones to. 

If I had more money to throw at kicks, I'd own a pair of the black and grey twilight zones along withthe black/white/orange twilight zones, but with all the Jordan VIs about to release in a few months I'm setting aside cash for those. Still, these old-school pumps bring back a lot of memories. I love 'em.

if anyone is still looking for the black ones DTLR has a few smaller sizes left for $90. I just scooped up a pair a couple of days ago.
 
$70 is a steal.  I should of waited.  I got them for $99 when they released a few months back, but would of been nice to save the $30
 
I wish they would do a re release of the white ones. I have a new love for Reeboks and want to add em to the collection..lol
