Any Golfers on NT?

I'm beginning to get into golf and was just wondering on a couple of cheap sets just until I knew what I was looking for. Anyone mind checking these out for me and giving an opinion? I'm also open to suggestions if anyone has any.

Just copped a hotel in Rochester for Tues/weds nights for the PGA Championship at Oak Hill. :pimp: Probably going to rent a nice long zoom lens for my camera.

Cousin is a member out there... I will be attending as well. No clue which days though... Wouldnt mind Weds for the practice round but I dont know... They have hospitality passes too so we can walk around or schmooze it up.... I will give you a "tap tap pull" if I see you

Should be legit.

I had hotel booked on the weekend too but I realized I have my fantasy football draft on Saturday so that wont work out.  Already got 12 dudes committed to that day and I'm commish with $100 league buy in so cant really skip that.

Why is the markup on golf equipment so damn insane? It honestly drives me crazy. It's so much marketing and stuff just trying to 1+ the competition. :smh:

Man, I swear I'm always laughing at the things you guys purchase.

When it comes to my game, all I want, and NEED is 14 clubs, a few balls, and a course. Anything else is just a distraction.

Honestly this is a good deal, but not a set I would necessarily recommend for a beginner. The 704.cb irons are going to be harder to hit than a game improvement iron.

The 983k though is a gamer. Still have mine in the bag, again though not the most forgiving driver.

While I somewhat agree, and I am someone who doesn't necessarily mess around with my bag too much. It is important to have confidence in what you are playing. As simple as golf his, there are a bunch of variables. Plus who doesn't like to try new things

Appreciate the advice. What would you recommend for a beginner? I was looking at the all in one packages that come with everything you need to start with from Wilson (ultra, etc) and I'd figured I'd asked the forum since y'all have more experience then I do.

Father's Day Deals at GS...

Returned the Vokeys got the 588 RTX in a 56/10 and 52/10, Nike Shorts and a nice belt + $11 back on my card :pimp: :pimp:

Of course.

I always fix mine, and at least one more. Just a little rule I go by. I will never understand why people don't fix em.

My boys that I play with wouldn't allow me to just leave it. I mean we are great friends but you can't be leaving ball marks
