I had a complete system set up that I was gonna copp....

But this weekend my cousin told me his Auto Detail shop could hook me up for the LOW ( 2 kicker 12's for $350 ) thats including box / installation / amps/font / rear speakers.


Im not that familiar with Kicker, I've heard mixed reviews, but all this for $350 with professional installation is hard to come by

i have one 12's kicker with a ported box, i am real happy with this 12. it gives me the boom i want without the rattle, i think 350 is a pretty good deal.id say $130 for both 12's. $20 for the box. $110 for both front and back speakers. $30 wires. thats $290. 350-290=60 for instalation. id take the deal, butyet again im no electrical tecnician

2 12 inch alpine type R's with an RF power 1000.1 bd... phase linear double din tv... rear pioneer speakers and memphis fronts... all different brands iknoo... but oh well..
 
Avic D3, great head-unit for its age. Single 12" Type R Dual 4 on a Mono Alpine MRP-M500. Then i have a pioneer 4 channel on my stock speakers. Knu wires.Sounds pretty good.
 
Question:

I blew out the stock speakers in my 02 Jetta and I want to replace them with Alpine Type R component speakers. I have a 4 inch deck in the car and do I need toreplace it also if I install the new speakers? Don't know much about car audio, just need some decent speakers that won't cost me a ton.

You'll probably have to get an amplified for the speakers to have them sound right. Im guessing the deck is stock? If so then you may want to for betterresults but even if its stock you dont need to.

yea they should sound alot better than stock

but if ur gonna spend money on those speakers you might as well push em
 
my whole crown vic is now alll MTX from the 4 6'8's n the doors to the 6x9's in the rear deck to the 15' 9500 in the trunk n the two ampsresponsible for all the noise lol....ALL MTX couldn't be happier. my 15'' 9500 runnin off that 1501d will murk almost anyone system with multiplespeakers. i got it runnin at 1.5 ohms...yea I pick up alll the lows lol

yes sir, i thought my 2 12'' pioneers runnin off my rock fosgate were loud...this is loud to the point u feel the pressure on ur lungs makin it hardfor u to breathe lol....my girl almost passed out, literally lol....

Was thinkin about it. Haven't played around much with it, because all I've heard was that my 3k loves to get LOW. which it does...

Jeezy's hypnotize actually lifts the box up ever so slightly when it hits that 28 hz note though..





oh btw..

I don't have rear speakers / no rear fill. who needs em.





haven't been looking into the audio game that much though.

stereo integrity made it into a pure sq driver..so if u wanna get loud look elsewhere..
 
I actually MIGHT have enough room for another 3k. i KNOW for a fact my car will fall apart. I used RAAMAT like 80sq. feet for the entire trunkand it stillrattles like crazy. In the front, my driver headlamps rattle and my rearview isn't visible and my side passengers also rattle.

Cheap Honda Accord coupe FTL.


I WISH i had an SUV. I'd put 2 18's in that $#%*$...

I don't want to get loud like....Kicker L7, DD Z-series loud lol. I want the ever so sought after "SQL" lol.
