I don't think i'll ever go the route of RD Alphas, DD 9915's, or even fully loaded BTL's.

quite possibly, if money allows it my next setup will be 2 12" BL's or Q's. off a 3000d hopefully.

I need some help...my system has been dead for a couple weeks now and I haven't been able to find the problem...before that everything was bumping and Iwas getting ready to replace my front door speakers because I blew them....

Everything powers up...head-unit, both amps, fuses are all good, everything is wired up....but I get no sound...I had a very weak battery until last week...gota new one and it hasn't solved anything...all I get are lights but no sound

Does anyone have any ideas?

It actually is somewhat possible to fit 9 cubes in a caprice. A guy on caforums.com has 9 cubes in an 08 charger. and it IS possible. the dimensions may be alittle weird but you could do it.

Well..maybe if it was sub up port back..but sub forward/port forward.. i don't think so.

I wouldn't mess with L7's anyway..if i had 7-8 cubes to work with i'd get a 18" btl with 2 sundown 3000d's strapped

A fully loaded btl could take 6k with no sweat..you're probably right, though. i've just always been a fan of single sub setups..

gully..you will NOT get a decent hu, components, speaker amp, sub, sub amp, box. and install for 1000....

you can't get much with all that, especially if you want it installed. Most you could do is go to some ghetto audio shop where they will give you freeinstallation upon buying their %%!%. But even still...thats not that much.


I spent about $2.5k on my system..

no luck just checked them again...everything is where it's supposed to be like the day I installed it...the system wouldn't power up if the groundwasn't connected right? same with a blown fuse...

do you think the actual head unit may need replacing don't think its the amps because what are the odds of them both going out at the same time (same forthe speakers)...I really want to avoid taking it to a shop because anything they will do I can do in my driveway...

I've done everything short of completely taking the whole thing out and re-doing it...
