well to be fair we do have a huge fanbase...a majority of them became fans because of showtime and thats what people were exposed to back then...most of them stuck with it....i know theres bandwagoners but that comes with the territory of winning

yehh i really dont remember either but that theater was dope for sure

Brandon Roy: Fragile or Unlucky?

I hope dude gets right...
Games Played:
06-07... 57
07-08... 74
08-09... 78
09-10... 65

doc could step away, he did wat he set out to do, brought a title to boston, and i dont seem them contendin for one more again anytime soon in the near futrue

Looks like DWade, Haslem, and O'Neal will be sitting tonight for Miami. And I expect our big guns to be in suits.

I know the Heat are playing the Nets, but that team with no Wade is probably on the level of NJN, if not worse. Looks like we could be seeing Boston/Milwaukee.

I'm really hoping the Bulls win tonight and get the 8 seed, Toronto really has no business getting in the playoffs. Maybe CHI can at least win one game against the premature champs.
Pacers to Consider Moving from Indiana?
Team management says they need the city to help with the cost of running their arena, and if they don’t get their way, moving to a new city is not out of the question. From the Indy Star: “The Indiana Pacers would consider all options — including moving the NBA franchise to a new city — if the city doesn’t agree to cover the cost to run Conseco Fieldhouse. Since the 18,345-seat venue opened 11 years ago, the Pacers’ lease with the city has required the organization to pay for the building’s general operating costs, estimated at $15 million per year. But since March 2009, owner Herb Simon and the Pacers’ top brass have insisted the economics of operating a small-market NBA franchise make it fiscally impossible to also pay to keep the arena running … The Pacers, members of the CIB and Mayor Greg Ballard’s administration have held behind-closed-doors negotiations on that lease, which have centered on the team’s push to have the CIB pick up the $15 million operating tab. Those negotiations now, however, have reached a critical stage. On Tuesday, Pacers Sports & Entertainment President Jim Morris said if a deal isn’t inked by June 30, Simon would have to start searching for other solutions, and nothing would be off the table. ‘We’ve been having conversations with the Ballard administration for two years,’ Morris said, ‘and we’re now at the point where we need to wrap this up in the next 30, 40 days.’ If that doesn’t happen, he said, ‘Herb would have to look at all of his options.’ Including moving the team? ‘Herb would look at all of his options,’ Morris repeated.

Im not a fan of Pacers moving, but you cant blame them. they're doing TERRIBLE.

and the Heat are trying to lose to the Nets to avoid playing Boston in the first round imo.

i see nothing wrong with playing 78 and 74 games....

So who's gonna make the playoff thread? I think it should be someone everybody knows and who has a good grasp of the game of basketball. I don't think it should be made by someone who team isn't in. I bring this up because these playoff series this year for a lot of us, are gonna take us back to when basketball was the best. With that, I nominate CP, Belle, Westcoasts, OC, and even though he !$+%! on my team too much, Chester

I would nominate myself, but I don't know how to do all the slick stuff a lot of you know how to do

Why not do like College ball did and just keep this thread goin?

We'll still have individual series threads and all that, but for main NBA talk, let's just keep this thread rollin.

Just my .02
