Colors and type of leather look better on those new linens than Kith. So glad to see the correct sole color again - look at that actual pink sole vs the 2016 on foot pic above. I agree the shape doesn't look great, but I don't care.

Kith shape was buns too but at least the toes weren’t concave. Any pair but an 01 gonna have its flaws. Maybe one day I’ll bite the bullet.

^ curious about that too. I ended up with 3 or 4 pairs of the 2019s and it took that many to put together a pair w/ decent shape.

Now that I know about these factory designations I’m gonna go back through all the 2016-now black box pairs and see where they went wrong.

As in, the production dates would be 2018-2019?

That's a wild take as that was 5+ years ago.

They wouldn’t be a restock, but could be a new production run with the same specs. Nike been doing that a lot lately.

They appear to have the same style code. So a reproduction/re-release, rather than a retro (which are designated by different style codes). We've been seeing this with dunks like ugly duckling pack, st. john's. And other random shoes like cosmic unity, spiridon cage 2, p6000

I really don’t get what’s going on over there. They got the shape so much better on the COTM and they’re gone in reverse on the retro mold pairs since. It’s like Nike maintains 6 different molds. Just doesn’t seem like smart business.
