What about Mink Oil spray?
I heard that protects it good from water …but i heard it changes the shoe color to a darker tint brown

Hate I missed Livestock after waiting for them last night. They ended up releasing sometime earlier today. Looking like retail options are about wrapped up for the Flax. Oh well.

Wait they released them at west 4th and gas town? I called their customer service and they said they will post them straight online when they get delivered to the store since the official release date has passed. I actually spoke to a person who works for the online store in their warehouse. So salty Ive been refreshing their website every 30minutes the whole day at work so i can grab a pair.

I refreshed from 5pm-10:30pm last night and emailed them last night as well and got a response that said today (11/5) but no timeframe. I missed out on them while at work. I'm kinda mad I missed because I wanted a pair, but on to the next!

This is definitely true, I killed a pair of Timberlands I had in high school when I tried to get creative with the mink oil to make them waterproof. Boots ended up looking like weathered leather after I coated them with mink oil.

I haven't read either of these comment. But when I first read livestock in the west coast got them I started making calls to their store and warehouse. Long story short the only way I could buy them is in store. I called livestock in Toronto and said they could
Help me out if I come into the store. 15 minutes later I was there and paid for the shoes. Super stoked!

NIke is notorious for using different sample pictures in the product shot for the website. I remember how disappointed I was when I got my Air Maxim in 2009 and they looked nothing like the ones in the promo pictures/ad campaign.

not THAT crazy about these flax's but since they have the stitched in swoosh by the toe box n that my first pair of airs in 5th grade were mids n for the fact that i haven't worn a pair of mids ever since, id like to get my hand on these for somewhat close to retail. Cheapest size 13 thats on ebay is for $215… even new jordans don't go up that quick and jordans are unfortunately the talk of the town nowadays

I've doubled up plenty of times but usually because i get them for a steal and plan on reselling them in the future. TBH the only pair i'ved tripled up on was the af1 supreme max air "birds nest", i just think they're sick looking along with being very comfortable (all leather everything) and I'm a sucker for visible air units
as for the topic on the flax's getting dirty, buy a bottle of lincoln EZ cleaner for them.
