Mis placed checks are ok nothing special except for real animal nike checks on high top white air 1.

Price point was just about right IMO..
I have taken apart a complete Af1 low and reconstructed it with some old black levi denim I had and there is a lot involved. Granted the shoes werent a complete recon, it does take quite some time to cut out all those damn swooshes and sew them all on.

Yea anyone who's ever customized a sneaker knows how complicated it is and how precise you have to be. I customized some sneakers a few years back and still haven't finished

People will pay 250-400 for some damn GR Jordans that everyone has, but wont cough up the $$ for some nice unique and usually 1of1 shoes that only a small amount of people may or may not own. Crazy to me.

I think the misplaced checks are a "good" design. I don't see anything visionary or mind-blowing about it. It's not like he made a new silhouette. I mean its like nikeid to the next level....... A remix is always just a remix. Its never as important as the original.

I wanted to do this (sole only) to match the theme of the entire pack where the midsole and upper are monochrome. I would've left the swoosh white however.
Need to find a customizer that can do SOLES (high quality dip/dye that won't bleed or rub off easily) in the DC AREA.

Wasnt crazy about the misplaced checks, price could have been gouging (suprised it wasnt). But if i was forced to choose a pair, i would cop those over jordans (if the misplaced checks were the price of a resellers jordan price u guys were talking about) but IMO id keep the money to buy some old DS af1 releases on the bay.
Jordans r shot, between the popularity/price/garbage quality of them its amazing how many people wear them. It has to be a really clean colorway for me to cop J's and i probably wouldnt pay a reseller price for them either. Only J's worth copping nowadays is the real limited releases like the BIN's n what-not because theres actually quality to them.

FWIW. By a "nice unique and usually 1of1" etc I was not referring to the misplaced checks(Swooshes). Just speaking in general about any other completely hand crafted design.

New pickup came in the mail.. man i had these when they first dropped. I have no clue what happened to them but glad i got another pair.

Ive seen the hi tops with the all blue sole & midsole in my size for the LOW!!! Few years ago. Still kicking myself for not snatching them up.
