OFFICIAL AIR FORCE ONE THREAD!!!!!

I've never had a midsole yellow on me on any shoe

but I've gotten to a point where I don't even clean shoes anymore for the most part

Yeah. I stop cleaning after about a year on my pairs.

Only pair that yellowed on me were the brown Escapes.

Not my pic, but they looked like this. Wish I still had them.

the leather looks real buttery and that shape looks amazing.. the toebox is nice and low profile

is Nike starting to step it up or something because just looking at that toebox I'm tempted to order ids
Well, the leather really seems to be very nice and creases the way leather has to crease. But compared to my older AF1s from 2001 etc. its not as soft as their leather. Nevertheless I'm really happy with their quality.

And referring to the toebox-shape:

I was sooo disappointed about the shape of forces from the last 10 years. I wrote to Nike complaining about this, showing the difference in pictures and what great damage this reshaping to the bulky toebox caused. They were really irritated about the huge differences in the pics. But as I could just reach the guys over here at Nike Europe they admitted that they actually can't help. They really encouraged me to contact Nike US directly. Maybe they change something if more of us guys asked directly for the nicely shaped toeboxes AF1s once had. I somehow believe that more of us make the difference.

Okay, for now I did the reshaping myself. Ironing changed everything and turned out to be the right tool for that. Sometimes I think they just left out this last step of shaping. Thing is: it just works with plain leather. Doesn't work with textile or patent stuff.

And yeah, obsidian cones were obviously the inspiration for my pair

great post, I am also very interested in the tutorial

the OG QS they just dropped were hot but i would pay any retail price if they were this shape and quality again:
400

sadly, even if they nail the shape, the leather will never be that crazy buttery again

I downsized a half size and its perfect. Maybe even a little snug. Great quality leather, maybe even the best on an Af1 in at least 5 years.

I saw the red supreme inspired lows in footlocker today. Not great quality but a little better than the others on the rack. Only a little though.

Came across these today. Seller is asking for $125, only tried on. I like them, but is the price worth it? Not sure what these go for

Can anyone chime in on leather quality comparisons of the nike labs airs vs the remastered ones. Trying gauge is the sp airs are worth the extra money
