if geiger didnt charge so much, he'd be aight. $500 for crappy quality AF1s with extra swooshes is grossly overpriced. if he knocked down the price to $200, then he wouldnt be such a scumbag in my book. i mean hes selling those joints, so i cant knock the hustle, but come on bruh. at least provide nike ID quality leather.

those zipper soles is his work creation IMO. its cheaper to just ID 2 different pairs with alternating color soles

Misplaced checks, huh? So ******* corny. Yet all these pin rolled jean cats eat that **** up. And not only that, but they pay $500+ for that wackness. In the meantime, truly classic AF1s are sitting on eBay for $200-300.

It just shows you how many followers there are out there because I'm almost positive that most dudes buying his stuff aren't really AF1 heads.

I'm not sure why people hate on Geiger. If you think 500 is too much for a pair of his AF1s, don't buy em. It's very easy to hate on and criticize people. It's a lot harder to be creative, and come up with a product people are WILLING to pay 500 for.

Personally, I like the misplaced checks, but the price point is too high for me to be interested in them. Props to him though for coming up with his own product that people like.

Its good that you like the shoe but that whole if you don't like it shut up and not by them argument is stupid. People have a right to voice their displeasure with a product. Personally I don't think this is creative at all. We are entitled to our opinions.

I'm not familiar with all of his stuff, so I'm just going off the misplaced checks and those abhorrent Flyknit mashups. But that said, those are about as creative as the Shaq brand shoes that are blatant knockoffs of J's.

So he took the AF1 and added more of what was already there. That's creative?

So he took 2 existing Nike models and mashed them together. That's creative? Like yo, he basically beat Nike to the punch because eventually we'd get a Flyknit x AF1 hybrid, since they've been doing the mashups since forever now. His creativity isn't even creative.

I understand that everyone has different tastes and that's cool. But can we please stop trying to pass limited off as creative? Because let's be honest--nobody would be paying $500+ for iDs with extra swooshes if they were in every store. The hype sells his stuff, not the design.
