Long time reader, first time poster.
Can anyone give me an idea of how the VTs fit?  I want to use the Nike discount to get the medium grey VTs.  I am always at a loss when it comes to AF1 sizing.
The best example: I have a size 10 AF1 '07 (black-pink-grey) that fits just about right (I also have a 10.5 '07 AF1 that fits pretty good too, just a little big).  However, I have a pair of size 10.5 grey (white base) AF1s from 2010 that fit way too big.  A 9.5 in these would have been a better pick up but I got them at a very good price.  I know from experience AF1s in general usually run small but I am trying to decide whether to buy a 9.5 or 10 in VT after my experience with the 2010 AF1s.

Additional note: I am in between a size 10 and 10.5 (if I had to) in lunarglides 3 but I wear a 10 because it is snug and I have about 3/8" room.  That's why I am even considering dropping down to a 9.5 in AF1 because AF1s tend to run a half size lower usually.  Should I go 9.5 in VTs?

Thanks, I really appreciate the help.

EDIT: thanks for the replies broccoliavenge and PanaRicanRetro!

Af1's all fit different... I am a true 13. In regular release forces I wear a 13. In any premium, supreme, or Nike ID I have to get a 12. I would assume to go with the 9.5

Yeah, I'd recommend going with a 9.5 in anything current. I find alot of Nike's are starting to run bigger as time goes on. Stuff I have from about 3 years back and before is around a 10.5 mostly, but everything I buy now is a 10 at the biggest, even foams (which used to be notorious for running small.)

Was considering grabbing the White XXX tonight but think I'm just gonna save that money to do an ID... Some of the things I've came up with tonight on ID

Stealth III inspired (wouldn't cop tho)

Just some food for thought on double standards - and this isn't to say that a lot of the pairs you guys made aren't nice - but, if Nike had released half of the models you guys created using the elephant print, most of you would be dissing them, talking about being gimmicky and OD'ing on the elephant print.

Now, the quality of the IDs are way better than the GRs and all that, so I understand that issue. I've made 1 pair of AF1 IDs and I wouldn't have bought it if it was a GR because of quality issues. But, I'm just talking design-wise.

Also, most of us would be lying if we said that exclusivity didn't play a part in this. Part of the reason why we like these CWs that we'd be trashing if they were released my Nike is that by being IDs, the shoe is limited by nature (and a higher price point). ...Not calling anybody out, but let's be honest with ourselves. And, I'll be the first to admit it - I wasn't sure whether I'd regret not making an elephant ID, most likely a supreme-inspired on, and one of the reasons I have no regrets is because everybody  made the same damn shoe. That shouldn't matter to me, but it does a bit. ...Though, the idea of using the shoes to be an individual is amplified in an ID, so it's natural that it would irk you a bit more if everybody had your ID. I don't really have that problem with either limited or GRs that are official releases.

I know most are feeling the denims the most but I stopped at my spot today & peeped all 3,& ended up walking away with the all white lows, the 3m is sick!

These aren't worth the $190 - $200.
not worth it to you, maybe.  however, the materials are definitely nicer than any af1's nike has put out in the last 5+ years (i'm being generous) - and there's a chance to design colorways and use materials that we may never get to design/use again.  therefore, it is well worth it to a lot of people.  i'm very happy to have spent the $205 and to have gotten the finished product that i received.  i've always been purely a vintage guy - but i'm looking forward to seeing what materials nike announces for the af1 ID's in the coming months.

The lux high tops look hideous copped the black and white couldn't decide which one to get they both looked to cold so I got both proly sell or return the one I don't want really didn't think they would sell out that fast

I'm interested as well... On the site it just looks like monster green smooth leather, but everything I have read states it's fuzzy like the tennis ball covering.

No stores in DC got the white 3M forces, not even house of hoops. Ended up copping from long beach, ca and had to pay wack CA tax and shipping. CA and Nevada stores kill me with that tax even though the buyer is out of the state, only two states I know that do that. Still not too bad at 160$ eBay prices already at $200-225 for them.
