Remember the Riccardo Tisci x Nike collaboration we told you about? We’ve got a look at the first pair of sneakers from the group to be revealed. Shown here is a Nike Air Force 1 High colored up by RT, which will apparently cost $225 upon their retail debut. We can only assume that there will be more sneakers and apparel from the group, but nothing has surfaced just yet. Get more of the context from the Vogue spread that the shoes debuted in after the break and let us know in the comments if you like the look. Also, stay tuned with Sneaker News to find out when the Riccardo Tisci x Nike project will be releasing.

I don't think they're AF1's per se, rather an AF1 boot. It stated so in the magazine article, and if you look closely you'll see that calf length sock is actually laced up and has a tongue, whereas the AF1 seems to lack one.

I didn't even notice at first and second glance. I thought these were a rehashed oly colorway, but no, it's a goddamn knee high.

Nike, leave this high fashion nonsense alone. Just release simple colorways with better quality materials. Problems solved. No one will complain. Promise

More from the Riccardo Tisci x Nike range has just been revealed. Included are a couple more Air Force 1s to add on to that first pair that was spotted earlier in the week. The focus on Uptowns shouldn’t exactly come as a surprise considering that Tisci himself says he owns 125 pairs of them, but we’re hoping that the collection will at least get a little more varied. Take a look at the shoes, including that wild super high hitting pair, and stay tuned to find out when they’ll be at Nike Sportswear accounts.

Nike Air Force 1 Low CMFT “Year of the Horse”
January 24th, 2014 by Brendan Dunne

There’s another “YOTH” pair of Air Force 1s on the way. This time around the shoes in question go with an actual pony hair treatment, one that we’ve seen Nike ignore for the most part with respect to this year’s string of zodiac sneakers. Said treatment is attached to the side of the shoes in sort of a jigsaw looking arrangement. Other notable details include a green mist outsole and the requisite “Year of the Horse” logos. Click through to see the full set of images on them and keep your fingers crossed for a US release on these Air Forces.
