ive never wanted a pair of AF1s because the midsole always looked 'chunky' to me, but i really like the new lunar midsole Nike is using. looks more streamlined. hopefully theyll be an option on NikeID so i can make an all black pair w/ a white swoosh and gum bottom.

The new lunar af1 midsole actually isn't terrible.
I'd probably buy both of those, if the comfort is as great as you guys say it is.

I prefer the old lunar midsole, an I'm not a huge fan of that one to begin with it.
But I got my BHM's an they're really comfortable. There's like 4 pods of cushion or whatever around the heel

i decided to weigh in on the lunar subject.. never planned on owning any lunar af1's.. i ordered the yoth af1 and received the lunar model instead.. decided to keep it because it is lightweight and comfortable.. i agree with crystalmethod the first lunar edition is better looking.. the back of the midsole on the new model just looks wrong.. i'm all for progress but nothing beats the og even if nike uses cheap pleather and cardboard as some of us say
.. i don't see why nike can't make a lunar midsole that looks like the og.. i thought they might be working towards that but wanna milk it one step at a time until they become visually the same..
i can just hope future cw's are inspired and we see new classics born.. and lunars don't take solid cw's away from the og model

I wonder why Nike decided to have an Air Force I release parallel to a lot of the recent Foamposite releases. And better yet, why they decided to skip the Silver/Volt Foams from the beginning of the year of all pairs.

Those concord's are awful.
They skipped the volt's because they would be awful too? Did they do a galaxy AF1? I imagine those weren't great either ahaI knew it felt like something was missing
