Sup niketalk, i'm sure almost everybody on here has seen this vid but for those who haven't I thought I would share. This is the first time iveseen this video so I was also wondering if this was like a jordan brand advertisement or stricly a Common music video. Either way, it's a tight song witha shot of some Air Jordan 1's and a couple of team jb members. so for those who haven't seen it, enjoy and for those who have please no flaming or latepasses

Definitely a collaboration/ad. Especialy since "Be" was the intro to that album. Either way, great find. Appreciated it!
 
it was a collab i can remember when JB had the video on their site, it was used to promote some LS clothing/shoes. if i remember right it was sometime aroundthe release of the all black 10's and the first couple of 14 retros back in 05 i believe.
 
i love the song. first time seeing the video and it prolly was a brand advertisement. and I do remember seeing the shots of TO & QRich in ads in a fewmagazines. Seem scene & clothes

yes it is a JB ad and the significance is that common is from chicago and used to be a ball boy for the bulls, and the song is inspirational

oh lord, i remember the thread about that was out of control and had unnecessary speculation.
 
classic. a very expensive commercial.....


and for those that are wondering why... it was a 2 minute commercial, meaning a couple grand, but you know BET played it for free... they'll acceptanything that will take up air time, or else they are going to be showing hell date all day... lol. i think i only saw it twice on tv...
 
I believe is a typical product placement for JB....

....yea, and didn't the same shoot got us that infamous JB poster with the guy sporting questionable IIIs???

...then the kid in the poster with Carmelo got clown too for looking like Ashante with those side burns.....
