Hey NT. I bought these air maxes specifically for a custom project. I loved the shoe just felt it was missing something especially around the midsole. All idid was speckle the midsole with black and teal paint. Changed the stitching and nike air logos from white to teal, and made the outer swoosh fade from teal towhite (its also patent leather so its not blotchy its just catching a reflection). Let me know what you think!

Wait how did you change the stitching... did you just paint each stitch or actually re-stitch???
 
Diab0531, first of all these are dope fam. i been thinking about trying to customize some sneakers but i have no idea where to buy the supplies and paint, andwhat techniques to use. Got any advice.
 
XKrispyELI- Thanks man! Umm i dont really suggest a certain paint just read the back and make sure it fits what you want it to do. Everything was really easyonly took me like 3 hours. Just make sure you tape them clean and your good to go! If you do decide to splatter. Practice on a piece of cardboard or somethingand get the hang of it. If you need anything else feel freeto ask!

just kidding ha and about the stitching... i literally just used a bigmagnefying glass thing and a sharpie lol needless to say i held my breath a lot haha

Thanks again everyone! and yes haha i just used sharpie for the logo... it actually worked a lot better than i thought too bc you really cant tell it was everwhite
 
Great work on those, they look soo much better. I couldn't see the final result for some reason in another thread, but you killed it. They look great.
