yeah, we have two 3 gallon pico fresh waters, one 20 gallon long salt water reef tank. these are all old photos though, it's a lot more grown in. the lastpic is the oldest. Got rid of the clowns, they're evil fish. Right now there is just a lawnmower blennie and a yellow watchmans goby for fish. Fewdifferent crab species, cleaner shrimp, sexy shrimp and an urchin for inverts. But frogs > fish. fish/coral are my husbands hobby.

Right now I have an empty fish tank. Trying to decide between fresh water and saltwater fish. Saltwater fish are nicer. But more expensive

Does salt water need more maintenence then freshwater?

you don't even want to know

They require a ton of maintenance and are $$ as hell. Our tank is probably at a couple grand and is almost twoyears old. It used to be in a 29 biocube, now a regular aquarium. The larger the tank, the easier they are to maintain. But, they are more $$ at set up.

Ive got three tanks at home a 55 , 75 and a 125 they are addicting I keep Cen AM cichlids and african cichlids

I am almost positive they do. I was reading about them before I started one up, but they are a lot of work and everything is so damn expensive. The live coral is like $50+ per pond and stuff. It's crazy, but looks really nice

Planted freshwater tanks are piff though, they remind me of my vivariums just under water

not sure how I feel about CO2 supplementing though, but in smalltanks you can get away with tablets.

Thats how it looked...

With Salt it depends on your setup if it is FOWLR (fish only with live rock) that is the simplest you can go , when you get in to coral , inverts , and allthat thats when the money piles up you hav eto have the right lighting , skimmers , kalkawassers, Refugiums , powerheads making a current , and some even havewave boxes . You gotta have deep pockets if you are serious about saltwater tanks
