Whoa. On Nike ID Neon AM95 colourway Spiridons would be sick.................

Or like maybe the royal Foam One CW with a clear sole...

Yah I had to dig this thread out of the grave. The spiridons have been lacking some love. These are still the most comfortable shoes I've owned. Nike did a good job with these. Instant classic for me. Not sure why these weren't popular. I guess people thought the air maxes were more comfortable, due to their air unit...

the purple spiridons are my unicorn. Every time I had a chance to purchase, something got in the way.

Of course if Nike were to retro Spiridons again.... they would slap on a lunar/free sole lol

Wait on Nike to slap on some surplus AM360 soles onto this shoe (sacrilege) but Nike's already shown us no shoe model, however esteemed in OG form, is safe from bastardization....

In terms of comfort the OG Spiridon was pretty insane; you could really feel the heel to toe transition of the Zoom cushioning, even just from casual walking. Closest I've felt this type of cushioning was the early Reebok DMX 6 & 10 models.

Leave the model alone & just retro it faithfully, put it on Nike ID, with patent options, and watch the $$$ roll in.

I really hope they don't do anything to the spiridons if Nike decides to retro them. A 360 sole will definitely not look or feel good. And you're right about the insane comfort. The heel to toe transition is very comfortable and you can really feel the zoom air cushioning. I actually think these are the only shoes that are running worthy, in terms of comfort. I've ran in other shoes such as run free's and lunarglides and there is no comparison. The only issue that I feel different from the OG's and the 05 retro's are that the 05's tend to run a little narrower in width.
