the helmet dude riding the bike has on is the best. all carbon fiber.

Troy Lee is the grand daddy when it comes to custom helmets. No doubt about that.
The person that did the jordan helmets however, I spoke with him about a year ago inquiring about a Jordan inspired helmet design. I wanted the black/red XX design on a shoei x-eleven. He couldnt guarantee me the wait period although he wanted to do it for me since I am a big MJ fan and a motorcyclist at heart. Depending if a spot opened up for me, the time it takes to finish the helmet isnt guaranteed, obviously since his priority is for Team 23. The cost is no guarantee either but from what he told me anywhere from 650 and up as a ball park. Im still waiting for him to get back at me, I already bought a brand new Shoei X-Eleven ready to ship to him.
It sounds like a loser deal but at this point you are at the mercy of the artist. youll get the helmet when its ready and you will fork out the $ when he asks for it. Even for Troy Lee, I think he only does custom helmets for close friends now.
