**NCAA Feet 09-10**

Love Isaiah Thomas' ID kobes. He started sundays game in the away gradients before switching back to the IDs in the 2nd half. im so pumped for the season

how do certain players get to pick their own shoe if the rest of the team is wearing something else. For instance if a team is wearing the lebrons and oneperson gets their own pair of kobes.

i dont know about every school, but at most schools, each player asks for what they want.

jmizzio,

I agree, UNC had so much better stuff back in the day, all these .5 combos are absolute garbage and look like every generic offering. Where are the XX3PE's??? Any of the Jordans that are under the number XV would be better than this stuff!!!

When I was at Maryland, most of the basketball players were sneakerheads and bought their own. Trust me I was there with the most of the time at thereleases.....

We were on the road I think at Georgia Tech and Juan Dixon bought a pair of the Jordan XI "b-reds" on that morning and wanted to wear them in thegame that night. Coach Williams wouldn't let him because they had just started that whole Nike Elite thing and were wearing the Shox BB4s I think.

That summer, Maryland was pushing hard to get Jordan to sponsor them. Especially since he was in DC at the time with the Wizards and Dixon was drafted by them. They got the white/red XVIIs and all of the apparel that went with the shoes WITH the Maryland logo embroidered on it.

Then Georgetown ended up getting it. Probably didn't want another school in the ACC sponsored. That following year JJ Reddick and a lot of the other Dukeplayers were rocking the black lowtop XVIIs with their away black and blue uniforms.

Then sometime around 2004 after I graduated, players were wearing their team issued stuff and an Jordans and the Kobe 1s that they had bought.

I have a feeling it has to do with comfort for the players. Its not like someone is telling them they cant wear what they want as long as its JB/Nike.

XX3 hurts to play in, even for someone like me with narrow feet... and hate all you want, but the Ol School III's and Jumpman Elite 1's are performancebeasts on the court.

I'm expecting the same from the Air Jordan Alpha 1's or whatever they're called that're releasing this spring. Wierd looking shoe and perhaps alame concept, but greeeeat for hoops.

I think it's too push sales of the Team Jordan line more than anything.

I am just talking about the .5 shoes; the Jumpman Elite is a tremendous shoe, can't say anything about the Old School, haven't tried it yet. I am moremad about how generic everything looks; Jordan Brand should be about innovation, not re-mixing shoes together and staying with old technology such asencapsulated Air. Come up with something new!! The first Nike Maxim is: It Is Our Nature to Innovate. Well, putting the AJ XVI and XVII together is nothinginnovative, that's just plain lazy. All these Fusion Jordans are terrible as well, nothing great about putting an Air Force One outsole on a AJ IV upper. The Air Jordan 2010 may not look awesome, but at least it is rooted in performance.

im sure it helps. But I was just saying, if the entire teams wants to wear UNC Jordans, non team Jordans, they can.
