CAN SOMEONE HELP ME OUT...Are the black/red XVI's from 2001 wearable? I am trying to buy a DS pair but i just want to know how durable are these? Has anyone had any problem with cracking or seperation or anything? Or would it be better to buy the CDP XVI? Any help is appreciated thanx

I'd be careful if I were you. I wore my low top black silver ones and they began to crumble under my feet. I had worn them 3-4 times since their release in 2001.
  
 
Reviving love for these. Just got my OG ginger size 13 today. Not too bad for a 12 year old shoe. Next up the hunt for a nice size 13 bred.

i think you will be fine in some 01's. my ogs black/red and low top white/red are beat, but still solid. i still remember copping these. just started dating my now wife. her sister's man at the time couldnt get his size so bought like 5 sizes too big to rock these for mardi gras that yr. i wore these hard for the next few yrs, everything from hooping to stunting on my zx6r. good ol days. appreciated
 
The XVI's.. are the best AJ's IMHO... Those Black/Red and the White/Red Lows.. Just copped my 3rd pair of Black/Red XVI's.. cant wait these ones i will ice the sole and put some SP on the bottom so when i rock them .. they remain icey.. ill post some Before/After photos.
 
I like the XVI's alot too they're a pretty dope Jordan all around and most colorways! My favorite is the 1st colorway, the Black/Red XVI!

I been trying to find me a decent pair of 16's for a fair price. Ran thru the pair i had in high school
 
Although I don't have any pairs myself, the XVI's are definitely appreciated.
There literally wasn't one bad colorway that they came in either, at least IMO.
Still on the hunt for some Ginger's or Cherrywood's.. :nerd:

Back in 03 I used to catch XVI's for <100 and the XVI Lows DS 120 in 2004.. 

Black/Red XVI's DS usually 300 but I've caught a pair thats NDS 200..I plan to RB them so they are super fresh before I put SoleProtector On Them..

IT was a pretty good deal then.. But yeah I caught a pair last week so its possible.. The coloration on the soles need to be fixed but this is a 6 year old shoe.. (Im not sure if i can link twit pics but heres a photo of mines.. Before (I re ice them)

They are in pretty good condition to be 6 years old. Hopefully i'll find me a pair or they'll one day retro these
 
Just copped a 8/10 Pair of Jordan XVI Lows.. for about 131 shipped (yeah i couldnt get him to 130 :frown: ) I will re-ice them as soon as i get there and clean these up.. Soon as i recieve this i will post a before and a couple weeks later.. and after.. Wish me luck guys!!
 
May possibly be buying a pair of Cherrywoods off my boy. He had em in HS wore a few times and just found em back at parents....

Copped the black/reds when they dropped when I started college, unfortunately they got jacked along with my car, so I rocked the midnights and copped a DS pair a couple years back, top 5 J in my opinion
