What's your take on going to the club/bar solo?

I've done it a few times, sometimes with intentions of rolling dolo, or having friends not show up or bounce w/ a chick early. I don't know if it wasthe luck of the draw or what, but I came up big quite a few times dolo...met a few cuties before, had a great time. Really got my vibe in, met up w/ people Ialready knew.
...A few things to keep in mind
- strike up a conversation within the first 5 minutes with whoever - bartenders, bouncers, random honeys, whoever.
- make sure you're the best dressed in there, not half stepping what-so-ever.
- have an aire about yourself, almost as if you own the joint
- your friends left early, or they're around somewhere. You're never "here alone", never.
...I would only give this advice to Men with unbreakable confidence, though. Because I've seen (or probably been) a few lames in the club by themselveslooking helpless.

Depends for me. If I am at some chill outdoor bar, in a hotel or something then sure I can go solo, bring a book.
But an indoor bar, lounge or club? Can't do it solo.

Club- No (kinda boring although you might meet somebody and have fun)
Bar- Yes (people do it all the time and it can be fun)
Movies- Yes (nobody talking to you especially if it's a good movie you want to see)

It really depends on you. Some people don't mind going alone and others will say absolutely not for various reasons. Like being insecure, thinking it willbe boring, or some say it makes you look desperate/like a loser. My first time I went out alone I had a great time, the second time..not so much(club waswhack).

Club - Hell no, never. Clubbing is a group activity.
Bar - Maybe if all I wanted was a few drinks after work or before meeting up with someone and I'm not planning to stay long. Or if I'm on the prowl
