Was in a local Mom and Pop store on Long Island, NY and was told I could reserve them...actually a new store that was mentioned in the local paper...told theywere getting 18 pairs...so I go in and ask if I can reserve them...the girl at the desk says "yes" but you need to put down a deposit. I say"Ok, I want to pay full, $175 right?" She says, "No, I believe they could be $250, we are not sure yet as no date and actual price has beenset." Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed, but put down $50 anyways for a deposit. Anyone have any insights on this? Can a store sell for $250 eventhough retail is supposed to be $175?

yes usually mom and pops store sell above retail all the time only the footaction finishlines and footlockers and niketown stores sell at retail usually

Well, Nike/JB gives you a suggested retail price on their box, once they are sold to the store, the store can increase the price.

^ Thats correct cause at my footlocker we have forces that says 85.00 but they are 88.00 and a couple more shoes like that so that price is suggested retailprice.

Depends dude...I always go to Irving mall because the FL and FA there always get the most pairs. Last year when the 11/12 dropped I got there atlike 4:30A and there were like 15-20 people at that entrance alone. By the time the guard opened the door (and that's tricky too, knowing which entrance towait by) there were already people running all over the place trying to secure a place in line. Being that this will be a true GR, all of the chain sneakerstores at every mall should have them. So, Galleria, Valley View, Parks, Collin Creek, Irving, and Stonebriar should all have them. Of course, you know thereare a TON of malls in the DFW area so take your pick...hope this helps

You should also call all the spots in the city just to see if any body is doing reserves last year when the 11's/12's pack drop it was a easy cop atvalley view mall just stay away from dk they always rape the customers on the price

im going to parks mall , i would go to towneast and but thats far. hoh there is gonna get the most pairs out of every store.

I dont do towneast cause thats the first stop everybody is going to be at might see if the galeria is getting any

If Dallas anything like houston...ha, you might want to get there 5-6 hours before the stores open..maybe even earlier.

i'm out in LI too? wut town is the spot in? I hate messing with most LI mom and pop spots cuz they all overcharge.

^ They migh have restocced already IDK for sure though... with all the people with their pairs already and the GR release, it seems there area a tremendousamount of 09 Space Jams for the taking.... I just need a pair so my '00s stay nice and fresh....plus I haven't bought any Jordans in over 6 months itshard out here....

I got my pair today, im impressed and like them a lot. i don't know what anyone is complaining about, but i do admit im not a sneaker head and this is myfirst Jordan purchase since the OG XIV's so my opinion doesn't really matter to the collectors. I bought them to wear because im a huge fan of theshoes. I'm satisfied.

I'm out in Huntington. Only one spot out here (besides the chain stores) and the guy loves to overcharge for J's. Bellport. man I doubt there'sspots out there. Hit me with a pm if you know a good spot or need help finding one. I probably wnt start cheking which spots are getting them until a wk beforethey drop cuz by then spots usually know if they're getting them or not. Worse comes to worse I'll be camping out at my computer with my egg nog.
