Picked up my mamiya c330 after not using it for months and forgot how quiet the camera is . If i could get some critique on this photo , id appreciate it. I usually photograph cars
I think that is why cameras like the Fuji X100 serious is doing so well cause it is more portable and gets you better photos than what you get on your phone. I've never wanted to own a Ricoh but people swear by those cameras and those things are pretty damn small. It's been quite a while since I last used my camera, maybe about a year now. I've been relying solely on my phone for photos, and while it will never match up to my camera's quality, lugging the camera around was such a hassle. Not to mention dealing with the large file sizes and editing process. Ugh... I do miss it though.
Well I got my scans back yesterday and not super happy with it but it's tolerable. I swear shooting film has been such a negative experience more so than a positive one cause my photos are never what I think they'll look like.
These are my night shots around Santa Cruz using my Mamiya 7. Nothing too crazy but I did suffer from some light leak damage that happened to 2 other rolls I shot with one being 35mm on another camera. I am assuming the damage happened after the rolls were wound up but not tight enough for when I was in the sun. putting it away in my bag. Note to self, take out rolls in the dark or shade if possible.
YouTubers got me to buy one and honestly it’s lived up to the hype, minus the price of the camera. Images are tack sharp and it’s as light and as portable as it gets. I shoot with it the most but I’ll break out the RB67 still for it’s close focus.Fong$tarr sir, when did you get a mamiya 7 and why didnt you tell me?
