The Official Photography Thread - Vol. 3

I was thinking about converting it to black and white and just having the car be red.

I came across a Canon 40D for $275 .. its used of course, good starter cam? I dont need video either... opinions?

That camera is really outdated. I would even go for the newer Rebels over that cause they should have a better ISO system and sensor. 40D technology is just really passe.

Took the advice from a NTer here and bought the 35mm 1.8G lens for my d5100, cant wait to use it :pimp:

Just a quick question. I'm usually on my ipad to do everything and haven't even touched my pc in quite a while, could you guys recommend any apps for photo editing on the ipad? Or should I just better stick to my pc?

Snapseed is what I use but beware, what you edit on your iPad might not come true on a computer screen. I find colors aren't as vibrant on an iPad and you almost have to over photoshop an image to make it look good. There is also a Photoshop for the iPad as well but Snapseed to me has more range.

Nice Images ...

1. I hate that you cought light trails from a ship or something - very disturbing. You might also want to clean up that sensor - in the mean while you might want to clone those dirt spots of the image.

2. Very nice - did you use the recovery allot?

3. Was it intentional to have the bridge and her blurry? or did you just miss focused?

Nice images either way - makes me wanna take a trip down town!

Thank

Thanks Fam.

1. Damn party boat got in the shot...and yes, my sensor is filthy! been meaning to clean it but since I usually shoot wide open, I've been lazy about it.

2. I used the noise reduction, had to...I think that was either 4000 or 6400 iso

3. Honestly...was a hip shot.

Here's a few from tonight. 70-200.
