So I've recently become interested in photography and I am in the market to buy a camera. In thinking about copping a Canon 35 mm, but I'm not sure whether I should cop a 35mm camera or a digital camera. What kind of camera would you guys recommend digital or 35mm?? Any suggestions? Recommend brands etc.

^^^^^Whoa. Didn't even know you still posted on here. Nice shots. Is this you occupation or just a hobby?

Very nice stuff! I looked through your site and you have some great shots from the Ye concert.

Has anyone bought one of these? Came across it when searching for used MK II's. Seems a little tacky but I'm just wondering how well it actually protects the camera from drops.

I literally have never seen anyone use a protector for a DSLR. At most a screen protector but even certain people hate that just cause you can't see your screen properly whether glare or just the clarity of your photo (even if you zoom). The only reason why I think it is silly is just cause the MKII is already magnesium alloy construction and that is like putting a protector over a tank.

But it is only 20 bones. Could be worth a shot.

I don't think that's intended for drops. More so scratches and dings.

Anyone in here going to SXSW?

I just came across that and found it interesting since I've never seen anything like that before. Might not get it just because of how tacky it looks but maybe if one of these screen protector companies like zagg came out with shields for camera's I'd be interested in seeing how they hold up.

Can anyone kick knowledge on how to embed photos onto the thread using a flickr acct....

Thanks in advance.
