Point and shoot (Note 3) pic.

L locobaby Crazy shots man. Makes me want to test out natural light. I went shooting today and had such a horrible shoot...Went to pack up and realized the cap was still on the bulb on my strobe... Bonehead move of the day...

My 24-120mm lens doesn't focus entirely, how apparent is it?

i forget what the technical term for this is, i happen to recently read something about a lens issue that due to some misalignment or other thing(s) lose sharpness across the image...not sure if that is what you mean though & it would be hard to tell without knowing where the focus was and what aperture, etc...

Thanks! I forgot how good natural light could be with all the in studio stuff I have been doing recently. My assistant ending up oversleeping and missed the shoot completely; the model's mom was there so I put her to work with the reflector  . Sorry to hear about the cap situation, that sucks.

Photo Dump from my trip to El Yunque PR.

The Rainforest is very green and some are boring, but I like them.

All the waterfalls are different and on different locations.

^ what do you mean focus entirely?

The object I'm focusing on is just out of focus

I was trying to focus on the building. It usually looks fine but when you zoom close you can see it's not sharp

First time trying to get shots at a concert/performance, Curren$y performed at DunkXchange yesterday here in Atlanta. Didn't get the best spot to take photos but it was good practice.

without pixel peeping, it looks pretty in focus to me...are you sure it is a lens issue, @ what aperture were you shooting? from the folk in the foreground it looks like you might have been fairly open? it's quite easy sometimes to ever-so-slightly miss focus with wide angle lenses if you are not extra careful, especially when a bunch of megapixels are combined with not being sufficiently stopped down...

#epic...

I think my aperture was between 7-10. It was a very bright day. Took some more today

I hope you mean it in a good way ... lmao

In the stairs w/mist and the Mist was that after PP or before ...

Not asking to see original .. just wanted to know if added that?

usually when you are up around there you get a good amount of depth of field, those folk at the table to in the lower right corner don't seem to bee too close to be out of focus...in any case it looks like you can work around around it or send it in for inspection/repair?

haha, always in a good way! thanks, i've tried to get up there a few times before and something would always happen so that it wouldn't happen...finally get the chance to go up & the weather flips and its zero visibility at the peak, coming down through the fog on a motorcycle was...amazing...if not a bit scary

the mist is mostly from edits in post, the og file is pretty flat but there is so much information in the raw file...after a few tweaks more stars & the stardust magically appear! looking up at the night sky (once your eyes get adjusted to the dark) i could only faintly make out the milky way, still figuring how to do things; it is one thing to read/watch how to do a thing another to actually do the thing

edit this was a longer exposure, typically you are not supposed to do longer than 30 sec exposure because the earth's rotation causes star trails rather than the stars being fixed, but because the lens here is so wide that rule could be stretched a bit, i think:

^liked that on IG earlier, really dope work!

Thanks dude. Had to be a hypocrite and VSCO it out. Daytime photos just don't see to do it for me unless there is some crazy color change. The natural look for this photo anyways just looked so dull.

Fantastic shot, this is my favorite

I'm thinking about getting a video camera instead of gettting a new DSLR. Anybody tried or know anyone who tried a Blackmagic camera out? I was looking at them a long time ago but I can remember anything now about

what are VSCO? Are they preset for LR? Did you pay for them?

I believe they are presets but I sort of do it the longer way cause I don't have LR. I just use the VSCO app on my phone, use a filter and modify it to my liking and just send the lower res version to my email and then just throw that photo into photoshop. I literally only use 3 filters and 2 of them are the Hypebest ones just cause they have a blue hue to them which pretty much fixes white balance issues. If I had to print, I'd download LR and the VSCO filters but so far I just stick to web stuff.
