what's a good and affordable camera for people that want to get into photography (literally for beginners)?

nah, doesn't look like it, you might be able to put a proper ball head onto something like these mini-tripods through adapting a 1/4" treaded bolt to them however you'd potentially be making the whole thing more unstable and defeating the whole purpose...better to find one like the one you linked to...
this question (as you'd imagine) comes up quite often in this thread, but not many would want to search through the hundreds of pages of this thread (awesome as it may be) to find the answer...if you want to get into photography #justdoit & get the best camera you can afford...most people are really going to recommend cameras based on their experiences; you will likely need to do your own researching anyways to figure it out, the internet is your friend...

Do any of the pros have specific tips for newbie's on taking photos in different enviornments?
Daylight, Daylight w/ sun in the background, nighttime, nighttime with lighting, etc?
I'm still trying to figure out aperture, ISO, shutter speed, and exposure. I got somewhat of a basic idea - aperture for foreground/background focusing, ISO for noise levels, shutter speed for moving objects, exposure for brightness....

I am actually. I was debating on whether to get an Xpro1, the x-t1 or a 6d
I know they're completely different cameras, but I've heard a lot of great things about Fujifilm.
But I love the size and grip of a full frame DSLR and the 35mm sensor size.
I would love to have an Xpro though, something about its rangefinder look is draws me to it.
Sound like a broken record because I chime in every time fujifilm comes up, but I've been using X Series for almost 2 years now. Currently have a X-T1 (posted a couple pages back) and an X-E1 (trying to get rid of this) and a handful of lenses. The primes are all amazing, hopefully will be adding the 23mm by the end of the year.
I was looking at the XE-1 but I heard the viewfinder lagged when not focusing. Is it worth getting and saving money compared to the XE-2? Or would you suggest just spending the money on the newer body?
How do you like Fuji compared to your previous Canon?

If you like the size and grip of a DSLR then you might not like the handling of the Fuji's, they're pretty small. I added a hand grip and thumb grip on my X-E1 and it helped a lot.
As far as the EVF goes, I never really had an issue with lag, but I'm sure it's one of those things that if you look for it and notice it, it will always bother you. I rented an X-E2 to see if it was worth the upgrade and I didn't think it was. The T1 feels like a much more refined camera

nice shot. I use VSCO for lightroom. i had the "free" version but decided to invest because I knew that they didnt function properly. Pack 06 was on sale so I bought it and that enrolled me into the loyalty program to get 25% off future purchases. they did a sale recently for 15% combined with the 25% for return buyers so I bought pack 2. Pack 2 is my favorite pack. Fuji Superia 800- is my go to.

I had a 7d prior and it did everthing that I wanted. I got tired of lugging around all the heavy glass. Specially the 24-70 and 70-200. Them things were bricks. With the Fujis they are lightweight and I have no loss in iq. I can take the xt1 and x100s to ISO 3200 without hesitation. 6400 is even useable. Something I couldn't do with the 7d without having very noticeable grain. If your into flash photography the leafshutter on the x100s is invaluable. Shooting wide open at high noon without special gear is awesome. I will be putting the xt1s tracking through it's paces here shortly. My boy starts bball soon and baby girl has volleyball. This lightweight combo packs a huge punch. I don't miss my canon gear one bit. [emoji]128077[/emoji]

No disrespect but those girls in the photos could get it.
Since i'm new to this photography thing i've been reading up and I decided that I would practice one aspect of photography at a time to get a better appreciation for the capabilites of my camera.
Decided on working on aperture - DoF first. Let's see how this goes.

Took this with my G3 and edited it with snapseed. That white line in the middle is annoying but there's nothing I can do about it on my phone.
