Man, I am in a weird position cause I am getting like $2000 coming soon and I don't know if I should finish up my tattoo or save it for a D800. I want the Mark 3 but I could even stay with Nikon just based on how the D800 is $500 less and that can get me a lens for the D800 even if it would be a 50mm. I need to rob more liquor stores or something. Hate being so strapped on cash.

The 14-24 I can let go for 1800$, lense is practically brand new...

Managed to pick up the strap I wanted and now I'm looking for a camera bag...
Haven't seen anything special so I might just go with a Lowepro...

Anyone have recommendations..?

I have a backpack but I want a sling now seeing hot is more functional for traveling on the go.

This ones is pefect for me but the big one has that nice sling feature.

i use an incase sling pack, very functional. but packed full of gear/wearing it for long periods of time makes my shoulder/neck ache

i like rthe over the shoulder style ones, they look nicer, probably fit more stuff also, and definately easier access.
i have the thinktank retrospect 30

Rolo my man.....you are gifted...I never asked you but I assume most of these are shot wit the 24-70??...not sure what camera...

Seriously bro, hat tipped....and I backed out on my Nikon sale...I just need to study my D700's settings better, for better SOOC colors...I get it fixed on PP, but it bothers the hell out of me when I preview...I know is some setting I got wrong...never got the manual, so is all been trial and error.

ksteezy - Thanks my dude and yes I shot this with a D700. I tried my 17-35mm first which did get the look I was going for but for saftey reasons I decided to go and try it a 24-70. As for camera settings, the picture control is set to standard & color space is set to Adobe RGB. Believe it or not, these two do have certain effects to photo in terms of contrast and brightness but not a lot. It does some what make a difference though. Everything else is either set to default, auto, or stuff I have no idea, I leave it alone because I'm going to post process the photos anyways. I know I talked to you about upgrading and what not, but from my point of view, if it's working and your either happy or good with what you have, then I don't need to upgrade because i'm already good with what I have. I just keep working on different ways to become better. Thats's just how I see it though. Hope this helps, and thanks again.
