I actually noticed two of my homeboys on Facebook that got theirs in the mail. I've been checking Best Buy on a daily and they still haven't gotten there's. I am hoping to get it from them and get one of the Best Buy cards and pay with no APR for 3 years.

that is a pretty good idea...right now they are offering 18 mo...but 3 years is much better...
when does that financing offer roll around?  I might have to do that too!

^^^^^^Not yet man! I should have been more specific but I am checking Best Buy for the MK3 and the D800. Both are still not in stock but I am actually leaning towards the D800 cause I can still use my fisheye in DX mode and since the god damn thing is 36mp, I am cool with the fisheye photos being at 18mp. Plus the video on the D800 is up to par and with it being $500 cheaper, I can use that towards getting another lens. I must say though, Rolo has convinced me to stay with Nikon with all his pics he puts up.

I forget but Best Buy actually has all sorts of plans from 3 to even 5 years with no APR financing. It just depends on what you buy and how much it costs. I got a Macbook Pro for my girlfriend and they gave me 18 months with no APR and that laptop was only a $1100. It's a good way to pay off something slowly if you don't have the funds right away. You just need good credit to even get that high of a limit though. Luckily I've been buying enough at Best Buy where my limit is about 4k.

I've never bought from B&H Photo before but its a site that is very trusted in the photography world. I'd imagine if you don't mind spending the extra 70 bucks, it's better to have piece of mind on your lens than not.

Question guys,

I'm going to be buying my first lens, I'm eyeing the Canon 15mm 2.8 (I've had the 18-55mm on my t1i since I bought it). I really would like a "fisheye" lens but I've read that the canon 2.8 is for full frame cameras and that the t1i is not full frame.

Can anyone shed some more light on this?

Also,

In addition to researching lenses, I've tried to research reputable sites to find good deals.

Aside from the standard Amazon and Best Buy I've read of B & H, Adorama and 42nd st photo...

Anyone have suggestions on other sites they use?

I'd say Amazon, BHphoto and Adorama are all reputable sites. I have never personally ordered from 42photo before but that have very high ratings on resellerratings.com

Thanks man. First set is Venice, Italy. The entire city is photogenic, awesome place to shoot. Second set is dodger stadium. Both are 3200 ilford film, Dodgers are 35mm and Venice with a medium format mamiya.
