Did he mod them yet? Seen the video, you basically open them up and peel off a foam sticker. It's like turning your 555's into 595's

went and got the allen & heath xone xd-53 professional dj headphones. after trying these compared to the beats, bose, and a bunch others, i can honestly say they poop on the beats. these things BUMP and the sound is perfectly balanced. plus for the price $180 after taxes

i'm beyond happy. don't sleep on these.

Portapro's are excellent, loved my pair. They are very fragile but lifetime warranty is always a good thing.

Stayed away from the over-priced and over-hyped Monster Beats and Bose headphones and picked up the Sennheiser HD 25-1 II. They sound amazing right out the box. I just need to burn them in and hopefully replace my 3 year-old 1st generation iPod touch so I can get better SQ. I'm thinking of just getting an iPod Nano 5G, an LOD and a good portable amp.

Had a giftcard to Guitar Center, didn't see anything other than the Tours by Dre that I was interested in so I scooped them up.

I can see how people give them good reviews, they are full of the right amount of bass for hip hop/rock type music and I guess the word "fun" would be perfect to describe them.

I'm really a Shure head when it comes to headphones, I love the way that they sound with the perfect amount of mid/highs/lows but I am enjoying the Tours for now.

I was mad high the other night and I seen 666 on the beats comercial with Dre about 10 seconds or so into it. Not trying to steer the thread the wrong way but just an observation while under the influence... I checked it on YouTube last nite and it's obviously placed there on purpose. Chck it out

Most uncomfortable headphones ever created.

I can't wear them for more than 15 minutes without having to take them off because they kill my ears.

Going to return them later today or tomorrow.
