Repped exactly how my list is.....

hennessy hennessy you forgot Welcome To The Winners Circle, Higher Than 30000 Feet, Super Tecmo Bowl in 2008

I used to LOVE those monthly mixtapes man. Only thing that came close to that was the Hamiltonization Process by Charles Hamilton at around the same time too

Nice list at hennessy hennessy . Definitely missing a few tapes though. Welcome to the winners circle, life at 30,000 feet, super techmo bowl, etc. Cool to see people getting more into spitta. Crazy to see how much bigger dudes fan base has grown. Cool to see the homie getting a lil bit more recognition. Nobody around me never could get into him back then.

Just peeped your post lol. I feel dumb for listing the same mixtapes now haha. Even Life At 30000 Feet is still appreciated too

I'll add those to the list when I get a chance. I wish I could add it to the OP. Dude hasn't posted in 3 years so it seems pointless to PM him about it.

Also not sure if I should add the few mixtapes with the homage No Limit artwork that were Jet Life projects. Mostly was other people besides Curren$y and was pretty forgettable. But it was something I guess.

"You straddle the fence you only get caught in the barbed wire"

Famous has been my song for damn near 5 years now. It is cool to finally see Curren$y get some recognition

And can we come to a unanimous decision that Alert is the best song on PT3. Riding to that song 2 nights ago high AF looking at the city skyline gave me chills. I thought I was gonna shed a tear the ****** beat is so ill

riff good for a verse every now and again, but c'mon this verse was trash and off beat

:smh:

In comparison to Pilot Talk's I and II, III does not live up to the lofty namesake of Pilot Talk. I cannot help but to feel like PTIII is a mixture of throwaway tracks and bonus cuts from previous albums and mixtapes over the past five years or so.

Not only are there no standout tracks, every song, sonically, sounds the same; bland, boring and generic. Spitta sounds underwhelming at best.

It pains me to say that because Curren$y is by far and away my favorite rapper of all time, but I just cannot rock with this album. I'll give it a few more spins and hopefully some tracks will grow on me, though after a nearly two years wait—he first announced the album back in 2013—I had much higher expectations from him.

I usually wait a week before I give anyone album a review but I can't put my finger on PT3 it's just not clicking with me some tracks are growing in me but I'm just not feeling it all the way. Froze would've been dope if it had Roddy, Wiz, Krit, Trademark, Dom, Wayne, Starlito, King Chip, 2 chainz, luda, J****, Game, Trinidad James. If you don't get the point right now anyone would've been better than riff raff smh.

I respect Spitta and his grind he came a long way. I like the Saturday night car tunes better than this, and those were probably the reject songs.

What I do like is the idea of getting extra bonus content from purchasing the album but when it can 've uploaded online and downloaded it defeats the purpose of that "special feeling"

repped ,good looks on that currensy list.

no love on flourishing; for modern day hippie, he killed that song.... that song was the first spitta track i heard back when it came out,  fly times at ridgmont fly turned me into a fan...

dude made that wiz song his .... killed it. still one of my fav currensy songs.

I think im the only person who likes the OG beat more to Famous that was that Monsterz On Marz mixtape by Monsta Beatz

And while Monsta Beatz is the first producer to work with Curren$y after he went on his own, I really never liked his production that much

^^ hated the rework of famous when PT2 first dropped but it eventually grew on me. And after hella smoke sessions they both are appreciated

I remember when I first seen the tracklist to PT2 and saw Famous on there I was like huh? And then I heard the reworked beat, its cool. Just prefer the OG beat. Now that I think bout Curren$y has alot of songs that released with 2 different productions

Breakfast, Nothing But Us, Famous, Skybourne, Life Under The Scope. Im sure im forgetting some

Finally got my PT3 preorder in after missing my mail-lady yesterday…

1000

…hopefully Customs doesn't hold up the Jet-drives for too long.

k3stacks k3stacks Nope.

After listening to PT3 extensively for the past few days, I can conclude I enjoyed it but the replay value is not very high. Several throwaway songs on here like Froze and Audio Dope 5. I will keep certain songs on rotation like Alert, Pot Jar and L.M. but the rest aren't staying on my phone. I gotta say as someone who still listens to PT and PT2 I am pretty disappointed in the newest installment :smh:

Agreed. Pilot Talk 3 felt rushed - not at all like a cohesive album. I'm having a hard time figuring out why that is. Didn't Spitta first announce PTIII like, two years ago?

While he was never a polished technician, dude just sounds lazy on PTIII. Spitta will always be my favorite rapper, but damn, I can't get behind this project at all.

people hate on roddy but i loved his verse on "hold on" on pt2 for some reason

Now they telling all of those DJ's to play me
Mama sat me down and told me all about the 80s
My favorite color was green, like money, since a baby
The ni&&&as turn flaky, b&ches turn shady
But no more gray days, I waved goodbye to Macy
Purple haze give me lazy eyes like McGrady

Roddy's been growing on me the past few years.  Really like him on the Bales tape, especially on Certified.
