OFFICIAL 2020 - 2021 AIR MAX 95 THREAD

Finally my first pair of grapes. I had only the neons before...never the grapes. Feeling good!!

In addition to the OG 95 air bags being larger the air chambers in the heel had different pressures (that's the PSI you see labeled on the latest retros) so when running you had a firm bounce on foot strike transitioning to soft cushioning as you transitioned to toe off. They were amazing to run in; what Nike retros is a poor imitation of what the OG was. No more dual pressure and not nearly as comfortable. Air bags have zero give and are just there for show IMO.

On the retro neons, the air bags feel like they correspond to the PSI numbers on the bottom. The one in the back is 5 psi and it is the least filled whereas the ones on the side are 25 psi and feel most "full". Is that how the OG ones felt?

And walking in them feels like they correspond to a god damn 2x4 ...the 2015 OG 90s actually feel good to walk in but these are terrible.

I think these take some time to break in property. At first I agree they feel pretty stiff. For me at least they have gotten more comfortable as I've worn them.

god no. Og was bouncy and comfy as hell. Retros feel like standing on bricks. Just for looks.

Already got shipping confirmation on my 3Ms from End. It's been less than 12 hours since I placed the order - these guys are truly a pleasure to do business with...

And you'll have them tomorrow probably!

It has to do with the fact that they use Fed Ex International Priority. The only other site I know of that uses it besides End is Wellgosh and it they both charge very little for it. (I'm sure they actually lose money). It ends up being around 2-3 days top for the US International delivery which is quite insane. I remember Titolo charging nearly $60 US for the same shipping service when I ordered my Greedys, so I ended up canceling them and buying elsewhere.

justed381 justed381 ...Like others have said the markings are just for show, OG 95's are in my top 5 of most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Anybody who's ever walked around/let alone run in a OG 95 will tell you the retros aren't even close comfort wise. :smh:

Thanks, I'm going to see if my size will pop up on ndc before trying on FA.
Was it in-store only? I just chatted with fnl customer service they said they dont have them, and they dont think they are receiving the slates either.

think its just FA.

Foot Action has had them for over a week as well.
Some truth to this, but they pulled them from online after being up for only 2 days due to the release date on the site saying August 6. Some stores have them. If you want to call around to Foot Action use this company specific product code to check - it's what I did.

Air Max 95 OG Slate Internal Product Code for FA (should work at other franchised FL stores as well) - 4208155304

You can have them do a store trace on it with that number since nobody working at these stores knows what the "Slates" are.

I know for a fact only 2 stores in the Virginia / DC / Maryland area got them. But now they are showing up in Nike stores as well.
