so as i stated in another thread, ive been tryna learn spotting fakes.  perhaps @AIRMAXDISCIPLE  can educated us a bit more, but between the two tags, this is what i got:

overall font is off.  fake tag has font thats not as tight and more blocky.  

region of production

dates of production are printed oddly, like @Diplomat1  said. 

and the "Q" in "frabrique" in the fake tag does not have the extra tail that comes through the circle of the "Q."   

obviously, anyone can emulate this stuff, but its what ive seen thats most consistently off.

Just copped my 13. 11, 11.5, 12 and 15 left. Cheapest ive found them yet.

There are hundreds of l/cs on NT with useful feedback to be read. That's what I started doing and y'all take my word now on fakes.

Not addressing this to you personally but a lot of people don't seem to be willing to go out and find them and learn from them. They want the same answers spoonfed again. As has been done dozens of times. That gets kind of annoying.

so then why tag me in this response?  in fact the passage you quoted me in even says and shows that im tryna learn.  if you dont want to help someone out on a legit check, dont.  skim over the post and keep it moving homey.  

newbs dont become seasoned without learning from others.  this is a community, its what happens here.  i understand what youre saying about heads getting lazy and just want to get legit checks without putting the work in, but thats on them and cant fault them for not investing time in learning to spot fakes.  especially when fakes are getting more replicated to look like authentic kicks.  so why would the average collector invest so much time in if theyre going to get swindled by a really good looking fake?  and when they arent sure, where do they turn to?  you.  @AIRMAXDISCIPLE  and the like.  

you drive a car.  and you may be an enthusiast.  you know how to mod it to a certain point because youve learned on your own.  but are you meticulous on details of the evap system?  do you know the duty cycle of the wastegate in case you notice fine knock?  prob not because youre not that invested.  you want your car to look good and perform well, and maybe youre just not that nerdy in cars.  

same difference for the average collector.  

 theres a fine line between someone like yourself who passionately wants to know the ins and outs of this culture.  and there are others who just want to know what theyre buying isnt fake.  do i agree that they should be as acetic as you are, and im tryna become?  absolutely.   but best case scenario, it takes time.  so please be patient with us newer people tryna learn.  thank you. 
 
It's basically a misconception that it takes long to learn. It ain't exactly rocket science, and everything there is to know can be found here on NT. Some of the clues are as easy as 'fakes always have a blue dot on the tongue while legit pairs don't'.

If people still end up with fakes while all the information is there, they simply deserved it.

Remember I PMed you about some fake sites, so I'm not unwilling to help you out bro. :smile:

In general it's really simple right. Find pics of a guaranteed legit pair and compare that to the shoe you're interested in.

For some strange reason step 1 already seems to be very difficult for a lot of people.

ive done exactly as youve stated.  read up on ish and compared.  believe me, im one to take on as much as i can learn as to be informed.  i know youre helpful, ive personally experienced it.  i was just advocating for others who might not be as willing or savvy about the game.  for me personally, if the price is too good to be true, red flag.  then, i always ask for tags.  if the seller is unresponsive or hesitant, red flag.  then the tag itself, i compare.  ive read, and noticed that the font is a big deal too, especially with specific letters.  again, just tryna learn.  and thank you for your contribution thus far. 
 
Go some jacquards for a steal.
Quality is very nice but the lack of tread under front bubbles is disapointing. can see the front bubbles being wrecked after a few wears.
I stopped buying 95s for a bitm use to wear nothing but 95 till 05 when the quality seemed to just disapear.
Its sad that there 1 of the best sellers yet least loved with quality.

If any one from mike reads here.
Paying £100 pluss for kicks, you expect them to last a lil.
The soles wear out on 95s way to easy imo.
Add jacquard soles to normal 95s and thicken up the front sole is a must imo.
bring back the old 95gs/93/94 and burst bubbles for all sizes.
release more gs and colouways.
Tbh I dont know how the 95 is maintaining top selling position, for pass 5 years every time ive gone in person to jd or footlocker to buy ive seen nothing but quality issues and whack colourways. even the neons are whacked together now.
I got some gs neons for the summer, beat up, glue marks, scratchs and dents in tow box. brandnew. cant send back as there sold out.
its not right.
or continue how it is and reduce the retail to like £80.
Just saying, hardcore 95 head that started off the 95 craz in Birmingham UK. wore nothing but 95s till around 05 when fakes were better quality then real.
plz sort ot outfrom a hardcore 95 head!

lol you havent seen the AM1s then, they are deff the worst when it comes to (overall) quality and cw designs in the Air Max series

Think it was like 3/4/5 or around there colourway nike ever brought out of the 95, basicly the neons but the neon was a babby blue.
I loved this colourway and around 01 02 03 times they retrod them. I remember a shop by me cheap sports shop that sold fakes but always real good 1s.
Anyway, These days were no net searching u had to go the shop. so basicly I went town and spotted this colourway and copt 2 pairs.
on way home i thought fk it il try that sports shop and see what he got, tbh id pop in every few days and buy odd things.
Anyway I got there and he goes what you copt, so I pulled them out.
he goes you aint going to believe this but Ive put you 2 pairs of these away in the back, came in yesterday and I knew you would want them.
sure enough he goes get them and pops them out.
you think I could spot 1 thing different? nope.
I payed £250 in jd on 2 pairs.
guess how much he charged me for 2 pairs? £50! he always done 2 for 50 for me due to me always buying lots.

This guy got his hand on the best fakes ever. lots were statting to flood the streets at these time too but yiu could, well I could spot them a mile off.
I remember also having a serious black leather with gums sole, and again he had them and the leather was exact same.
I recon most fakes are just rejects but some are terrible.
The thing ive never understood is why its rare for them to do perfect copys, I dont understand how they cant copy perfectly. some are though!
At these times the easiest way to spot fakes were simple, if they not in jd or footlocker, allsports, basicly town retailers, then there fake but accasionely youd get perfect copys.

Now you will see exact colourways but they all out of shape, bubbles or materials aint right and so on.
That shop got closed down sadly, he moved and left his kids running it and they just got whack colourways and quality, then it got shut down.

Forums are here to talk and ask questions so if you about to cop a pair and think there fake you should post here.

tbh even top retailer could sell you fakes. the fake colourways are exact now so could buy a real pair and take back fakes, then they get sold to you.

Look at the fake stussys and wheats, specially the wheats, they better then the reals.
This why I always say i dont think they are fakes, I think there rejects.
like nike goes to 10 factorys and says they want blabla amount in these colours. go back and buy the best qualities. then 2 out the 10 factorys could be rejected and have to sell theres elsewere. that imo is what i think.

how is it these fakes can be made and sold for a 5th of nikes price?

games messed up now and cant even turn to adidas as they putting crazy prices on kicks. climacool retro is 125. double the original price.

I suppose theres asics and saucony. lol why cant they just fix quality and price properly, il never understand.

nah i was paying mind to nothing.  dude said it wasnt aimed towards me but tagged my name.  so i wanted it cleared.  i have nothing but respect for everyone on here, but respect is a two way street.  thats all, its all done and squared up, but thanks for the support.

i am speaking out of my own experience, back in the 90s when i was hanging out with my homies at the schoolyard
in the late evenings to smoke weed and kick some ball we had to run away from the 5-0 quite often at least 7-8 times in a month
and the last thing what you need in a situation like that is wearing some mad heavy and uncomfortable B-ball kickz
and get caught by those damn pigs and get a ticket from 75 euro :x   :smh:

lol, look at the laceloops, the top pair got black stripes at the laceloops and the bottom pair not

they are 2 different cws just look at the last 3 digits from the style code and you'll see what i mean
 
Ya i noticed last 3 digits of the code before i made the post but totally looked over the stripes lol
