Love the Denim, they are fresh, the Ultra Jacquard Black and White got good ideas too, even if I'm not okay with the nets and the midsole as I said...

Here is a picture of a Nike ID AM95, nothing to do with the picture I had on the Internet lol

Was thinking of Metal Cooler when I did this ^^

Anyone ever try to paint a white midsole or a midsole in general? How many layers should i do? Considering painting the white midsole on one of my pairs but i dont want chipping to occur.

ive done several now.  each time gets easier as you learn better technique and how to be patient.  i dont even use painters tape anymore.  

this is what ive learned:

prep well.  clean it. water, rubbing alcohol and acetone.  thats the order of necessity.  if you dont need acetone, dont use it.  

invest in a good brush, or a few.  you'll find what width works best for your method.  i started with a super wide one thinking id do as much as i could with each stroke, but found that doesnt work well for tight spots like air back orifices and where material meets the midsole.  

arrange the order so youre efficient and not waiting for paint to dry.  i tend to do it in quarters: inside on one, inside on the other, outside etc...

just like other painting applications, dont spend too much time on the first coat.  its a base and trying to get coverage will cause uneven streaking and lines.  

i do at least 2 coats depending on how wrecked the midsole is.  

get the right color.  ive been using "white," and its a bit glossy for my taste.  i will be switching to flat tones here on out.

I'm happy, I succeed to buy 2 AM95 for 260 euros (about 207 £ or about 294 $), the price in France is basically 170 euros for a pair...

Here are the models :

I have hesitate a lot of times to take the first one at its normal price and I've been waiting for the second pair for a while...

At JDSports, they always put really nice ones at some times in a few sizes...Beautiful pairs on which I've been salivated...

PS : Huaraches cost 120 euros...So 2 AM95 for that price : !

JD always worth checking for GR 95s they tend to have about 7-8 cw's up at any one time

unseen unseen ive gotten this pair and theyre brand new w/o box (got for 66.35 shipped). Idk if they were a display model but there are very very minor small blotches of yellow which arent visible to the average joe's naked eye if worn on foot but on the listing i noticed they werent super white but i didnt care. So i recieved them and my eyes were correct there is a tint of yellowing in some spot but i dont even think if i took a bright/focused picture u wouldnt be able to see it.

So for the price and little yellowing condition they have i want to try to paint the midsole black. What paint do u use? Are those sneakerser paint pens from overseas worth it?

EDIT: now that ive clicked the picture after i submitted the post u can kind of tell the rear part of the midsole isnt as totally white as then front part
