Bachelor Pad.

Great place Mez, and illmatic.. that's one of the things I liked most about the frame, was the slanted head board. It's a great look and I was considering it before but I'm probably definitely getting it now.

Ill be adding to this post this year, buying my first house in a couple months. I seen some great ideas in here on how to design it :smokin

Rearranged my bedroom and found a rug today. Still need to get a couple pieces for the walls, they look really bare right now.

Hey guys,

Just signed a contract to purchase this studio in the Soma/Mission Bay area in the city.  The previous owner was a lady and the property has a softer pastel wall paint scheme going on.  It's a real nice paint job so I'm not really inclined to paint over it but I wanted to get some input as to how I should make this look more masculine with the furniture.

Pics:

The kitchen and bathroom are gucci though - don't think I need to worry about them

This building has a Miami sort of design going with Palm Trees and all that and I think this unit has colors somewhat compatible with that theme... Was thinking to try to go for a sort of South Beach Hotel look kind of like below?  What do you guys think? What sort of design elements could I use? Like Greek patterns, etc?

Etc. etc. etc.  I think this might be tough to pull off since I don't have the greatest interior design chops...

Thanks for sharing, though.

It's a lot of Nice ideas in here

I was thinking of changing my room around to get that beach feel to it.

Add some Palm trees change the floor.

Drilled holes through the wall to run the cables in the same day I went with wall mounting.

As far as the coffee table, it's on the west elm website, it's called Rustic Storage Coffee Table, believe it's around the $400 range
How stable is the coffee table? The legs look really flimsy. Thanks.

Table is very heavy, legs are made of blackened steel. They now have different variations and colors of the same table on West Elm.

LOL @ all the Queens dudes in here ... I am looking for ideas for my living room. It is huge. I think I want to gut it and do something simple, maybe add a projector too.

I am in Forest Hills, and swear I see NT dudes daily.
