Bachelor Pad.

I really need to put more stuff on my walls... been in this house 3 years and December and the only decorations I have are 4 framed art tings I bought from when I worked at Blockbuster.

It makes a difference if placed properly. Pay attention to corridors and mirrors. I place wall art next to mirrors for added effect.

I have a lot of space so it takes work to make it look less industrial in my house.

I would never be able to buy a mattress online. Got a new one a couple years ago and I tried like 15 before I found one I liked
Took me forever to find new pillows I like too

I'm in the market to purchase a mattress by the end of the weekend. $1000 feels like a good price point to purchase one but this $2000 mattress been getting good reviews that continues to be top of mind for months.

The $2k mattress:

Never skimp on a mattress you spend so much time on it, make sure you get quality within your budget.

How old are these pieces or how long ago you work at BlockBuster?

I rock with the Zinus Green Tea one from Amazon. Bought 3 of them in the last 6 or so years. But yea, mattress prices are so damn high that I wasn't trying to spend 1K on it.

that's probably where I'm going to go. Just stay under 1k and every time I move post it in on FB for "free if you come pick it up yourself," My current mattress is a Christopher Knight 13 inch bamboo/charcoal/green tea king or whatever I got from Overstock for like $600 a decade ago so it'll be fine IMO. Maybe when I buy a house and get fully settled/committed to it I'll drop major bread on one. Seen some black mattresses and that aesthetic is fire

Also picked up a Zinus mattress. My old one was in shambles and it had been ten years. It's a hybrid so it's not as soft as I was used to, so hopefully it softens up a bit but I also wanted the support and some bounce.

Just moved into a new spot need a new bed frame.. I got like no closet space so I want everything to have some storage capabilities..

like drawers under the bed or a storage stowaway situation..

Any recommendations ?

what’s your budget?
we bought one of those bed that flips upwards and has ton of storage space for our guest room to hide all our junk from IKEA. i love it.

this one
lots of space under
thats the one in my cart right now actually
i like the size and storage capabilities... hows the quality?

Thats within by budget.. dont rly have a set budget i would like to attempt to get some side table/ night stand type things and the bed frame for a stack but im not against dropping a stack on just the bed frame if its gonna have good storage and look nice..

was gonna do drawers but dont wanna HAVE to have clearance on both sides of the bed to open drawers.. def prefer that lift up joint

it’s really solid. we’ve had it for a while now and although it’s not our regular bed we sleep on we are always flipping the bed upwards and it’s worked just as good as the day we got it.
the space under is invaluable to us though. we hide so much junk under there
