Tariq Nasheed Thread: Updated on Last Page: Racism In Star Wars

Without listening, none. No time for issues from the past. Go see a shrink or your "bestie" for that kind of ****.

 black folks crying about black folks using *****

save that **** for something more meaningful. White people were using ***** before black people even decided to drop the er for an a. And they'll keep using it if all black people stopped. Stop making excuses for them racist *****

But yea I still keep up with Tariq and appreciate the work he does. He also jokes around which is cool because every thing can't be ra ra serious at all times. You gotta lighten the mood with the way **** is these days. Haven't seen anybody on a platform like his (which isn't the biggest) promoting black owned businesses like him.

I know some people knit pick **** to cry about pertaining him but if you can't appreciate his work as a whole then you're just a hating *** idiot.

Especially people who count his pockets :x it's like damn dude ain't allowed to make a living. At least he ain't funded by George Soros and mixing in black issues with gays and everybody else.

I appreciate his work but sometimes I find myself :rolleyes while listening to him at time too

His dating stuff is more solid than his social commentary

He cool, and makes a lot of solid points, but he can be full of **** sometimes and get downright childish when someone criticizes him

Only time he gets annoying is when he throwing shots at that sotomeyer guy....only been listening to him since last year so idk the history b/t the two

I don't listen to anybody literally word for word but as of now he says more good than bad. Nobody else out here speaking about black issues w/o trying to mix in other agendas. It's rare these days

But some of his jokes be  and any debate should be to the point because talking in circles get you nowhere.

That's why minister Farrakhan could always slay his interviews before mainstream media blackballed him :pimp:

I've never watched hidden colors but seeing the praise it gets will always make me salute a black man for sharing knowledge. I'll probably cop em all when 4 drop next year

Zo Williams?

Haven't heard him since the foxxhole days...is his show on the apple podcast app?

I'm not sure as I've never used it.

He has two shows: The Voice of Reason and he has the Zo What Morning Show(which is what was on the foxxhole).

The Voice of Reason can be listened to via an app called 'dash radio', and Zo What Morning Show is uploaded to his youtube channel

Someone uploads his vor shows to youtube; search 'voice of reason'.

Man there was like 5 funny callers. The white dude that admits black people have it bad. White people are aliens dude lol

I stopped listening to tariq when he started the muppet show thing with tommy. Too childish for me. I respect what he's doing for the African American community, not too many other brothers and sisters are making moves like he is.

Dude is a clown! Hope he read this too. Used to rock with dude. Hidden colors were dope but he a grade A clown.

You can't drop all that knowledge in one breath then in next be using the n word and/or talking down on black women.

I'm good!

He does the same **** to a specific group of black men just like black women.

Only black people start crying at legit constructive criticism. He probably said something that related to a female you know or love. (

How does he talk down to black women?

Tommy, I can see the argument THERE.

But Tariq only "bashes" low quality women. Of any color

If a racist called you King or Original Man or God or whatever and still treated you like a second class citizen or lesser than a dog, it's not the word that's important. Likewise if a black man called you King or Original Man or God while robbing you, would it make the act less heinous? We get hung up on the least important part of our problems.

If the point is to not see ourselves through the eyes of our oppressors, then it doesn't matter what we call each other as long as the meaning of the words used between us are respectful in the context they're used in. I don't go around calling everyone N but I do use the word sparingly and I listen to hip hop, so it's said when I'm repeating lyrics.

I could be wrong on this one, but I think the word isn't that important. It's like saying the f word. If my girl says she wants to ****, I don't get upset. But if someone calls me a dumb ****, of course I'm gonna take offense. I think context is important.

Completely agree.
