Seriously, the og Pip 1's are THE most uncomfortable shoe I've ever worn. I'd hoop in Chucks before I'd ever wear those again lol.

Been a while, but i remember them being clunky, poorly ventilated, with lousy traction and not-so-great cushioning either.

held them in my hands and man they are awesome looking but that 165 is steep and i wonder if they will sell any for retail, if they wanted this shoe to fly they should start at $100

I'm not going to lie, MOSTLY white sneakers aren't really my thing, but man these look nice! I may consider buying these after the price drops. Villa dropped the price of the red/white/black Uptempo's three weeks after I bought them for 130. I've learned my lesson, I'll wait lol

Some reason the white just looked overly bulky when trying to wear casually.. IMO. i just couldn't pull it off myself. the black one was much easier to rock and didn't look like boots on me lol. guess that saying like with clothing holds the same with shoes, that wearing black make you look skinnier
anyways could hardly see any pics of pip wearing the whites, but i did find this:

Pip and some of the Bulls had a full length zoom version that they wore on court. I really wanted that version and called up Nike customer service trying to get info but nada player exclusive. Pip also did wear the white black red foam pros briefly

False. Foam Pro was made for him, however size 17 and Foamposite = no bueno. He didn't wear them. He didn't play in the beginning of the 97-98 season. He wore a Nike sneaker that escapes me right now, and right before before the All-Star Break in 1998, he began wearing the Pippen 2.
Pippen 1 is back at Champs now. Not bad. Hope we get the blk playoff colorway this year.

Never knew these dropped again. Nice. Not sure if I'm gonna cop. My blk/red joints from 08 already had complete sole separation. One of my many summer projects.

You mean the Air More Uptempo? No. They released in 2010 I believe and were forgotten about because everyone was chasing the cool greys for christmas. BUT, they weren't forgotten about for long because they too were sold out the next day. I regret not copping them because they were made in the style of the OG. It's hard to find them around now.

I ended up finding a size 13 at Jimmy Jazz tonight in Dayton. $165.00 seems awfully steep, but they seem to be unavailable online and no Footlockers around have them in stock. I figure they are still cheaper than most retros/LeBrons/Kobes anyways, so I went ahead and bought them. I would have been more upset had I let them go waiting for a better deal and then missed out completely. I loved these shoes when I was a kid. Buy what you like and enjoy them.

I still have my black pair from 2008. Those are one of my all time favorite shoes. Pippen 1's(playoff colorway) are one of the best designed Nike's, EVER!
